Maria's Pool Bar — Restaurant in Mogán

Terrible experience at Maria’s yesterday when we went with our extended family. Over the last week, we have spent 100s of euros on food/drinks, on two occasions, full meals, which you purchase in order to use the pool. No issues any other time and this has been the arrangement for years.

Turned up yesterday to use the pool/enjoy some drinks/snacks as it was our cousins last day on holiday and were told by the lifeguard that we had to pay 20 euros per person to swim, which would have totalled 180 euros for 9 of us, which was extortionate.

We then had to tell four very disappointed children that we could not use the pool, which they’d enjoyed the majority of their holiday. I would understand it a bit more if the place was heaving but half the sun lounges were unoccupied. Terrible customer service and pure greed! Sort this...

We stayed in Puerto de Mogan for 10 days and my family always laid by the pool. The staff was super friendly and the drinks and food is very good. They remembered us by day 2. We met one of the staff several times outside the pool area and he always smiled and said hello to us. He even shook my hand while i was walking past him with my luggage as i passed him randomly while i was on my way to check out. He wished us a safe travel and asked me to say hello in his regard...

Whenever I go to the Marina pool bar ,I always feel in a familiar place,it's one of the main reason why I decide to visit the place ,but when I actually get there and I start enjoying the facilities I feel even better because they provide a great food and they always have a spare smile for you!
