We had mixed feelings about this place. While it offers an impressive variety of sake, the overall experience didn’t live up to our expectations. The atmosphere felt more like a brightly lit restaurant than a cozy sake bar, which was a bit overwhelming. We came hoping for a relaxed bar vibe to enjoy sake, but the lighting and setup didn’t match that at all.
Unfortunately, the service also fell short. The staff didn’t make eye contact or check in with us while we were waiting to order. We had a sake tasting set, intending to choose a bottle or two afterward, but no one followed up. After waiting too long with no attention, we decided to leave and go elsewhere.
It’s a shame, the sake list is great, but the experience didn’t reflect what you’d expect from a place that calls itself a sake bar. A bit more focus on service and atmosphere would make a...
Read moreJust WOW. I’m at a loss for words. This is a must visit if you’re in Palma. Amazing everything - food, drinks, service, staff, atmosphere. Upon arrival, we got served a complementary sake with green tea. We ordered a bit of everything, some hot food, some sashimi, sushi. The wait for the food was a bit long from time to time, but the waiter made up for it by giving us extra bites and apologizing, which made us feel seen and welcome as guests. Even if the wait was a bit long, it was completely worth it. The flavors were well combined and interesting, with sashimi so fresh and flavorful it melted in your mouth. A must try is the seabass carpaccio and the salmon & caramelized pear sushi. We tried a couple of sakes after the staffs recommendation and were not disappointed. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Palma. Thanks for an...
Read moreWe had a fantastic dinner last night at this small but very welcoming restaurant, which we would highly recommend... and are looking forward to going back to soon. The Sushi , Dim Sum and Sake were all amazing and a few dishes we had to reorder as they were so good (special shout out to the prawn tempura in lettuce).
We were running late, as its super popular area, but the staff were very accommodating with u,s even though it was busy Saturday night. It took us 45 minutes to find a place to park.. so its advisable to take a taxi rather than drive around and around for hours.
My only suggestion would be to turn the lights down lower and put the music up slight.. it was very bright and it would make the place more inviting if it was a bit more chilled.
A big thank you to Edu for his suggestions and...
