I truly wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had — and it left a really bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively.

From the moment we sat down, we were treated poorly. We waited over 20 minutes before anyone even approached our table. When our server finally arrived, she greeted us by saying she was “okay and very tired” not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a fine dining establishment. Without offering any explanation of the menu or asking if we had any questions, she immediately asked for our order.

We ordered about seven appetizers and two entrées. To be fair, the appetizers were some of the best things I’ve eaten on this trip. But when they cleared the final dish which we had specifically asked to keep. Then came a 30-minute wait before our entrées arrived, unceremoniously dropped at our table with no explanation or attention. The entrées themselves were disappointing. The short rib was extremely dry, and the scallops lacked flavor and finesse, especially surprising given the strength of the starters.

Still, what truly ruined the experience was our server. From the start, she treated us with an attitude that made us feel like we were unwelcome or had done something wrong. She looked visibly annoyed every time she came over, never once checked in during the long waits between courses, and didn’t offer us the opportunity to order more drinks or anything else.

The entire experience was deeply disappointing and left us feeling genuinely uncomfortable as we left. Even though the majority of the food was excellent, the service was so unpleasant that I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. No one deserves to be treated like that while dining out especially at a restaurant that seems to pride...

Mambo Restaurant Review

Nestled in the heart of the city, Mambo offers a dining experience that is as vibrant and welcoming as its name suggests. Our recent lunch at Mambo was a delightful journey through fresh, flavorful dishes and exceptional service.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, setting a friendly and inviting tone for our meal. The attentive service continued throughout our visit, with the team always on hand to ensure our glasses were full and our plates were promptly cleared.

The menu at Mambo is a celebration of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and our dishes certainly did not disappoint. We began with the prawn carpaccio, a beautifully presented plate of sweet, succulent prawns that tasted as fresh as the sea. The avocado salad, served in an innovative roll shape, was a symphony of flavors and textures that left us eager for more.

For our main courses, The whole monkfish, prepared in spiced olive oil, was a standout dish—tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The succulent roasted pork was another highlight, with juicy meat that melted in our mouths.

The restaurant was fully booked for lunch, a testament to its popularity. Many of the diners seemed to be regulars, engaging in lively chats with the staff, which added to the convivial atmosphere. We highly recommend it for anyone seeking a delightful...

MAMBO Restaurant in Palma is an absolute culinary delight! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and a warm, welcoming staff that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The modern decor, paired with a lively yet relaxed vibe, creates the perfect setting for any occasion.

The menu is a celebration of Mediterranean flavors, with dishes that are both innovative and beautifully presented. The seafood is incredibly fresh – the grilled octopus and prawn dishes are absolute standouts – and the creative twists on traditional recipes keep every bite exciting. Their wine list is equally impressive, offering a carefully curated selection that perfectly complements the menu.

The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who make you feel truly valued as a guest. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely lunch or a special evening out, MAMBO delivers an unforgettable dining experience that leaves you eager to return. A must-visit...

I had an exceptional experience at Mambo. Each dish is exquisitely designed and created with extraordinary attention to detail for all the senses to enjoy. The kindness and attention of each of the servers and the warm atmosphere also added to my experience. Everything we ate was delicious and beautiful. Favorites included: salmorejo, grilled scallop with hollandaise foam, Galician razor clams, beetroot salad, red shrimp carpaccio, anchovies on brioche, suckling pig on lettuce leaf, grilled turbot, monkfish, filet mignon, and short rib. The sustainable chocolate textures dessert is incredible and a work of art. Favorite cocktail was the pisco sour. Overall my experience at Mambo was like a thrilling tasting menu - so delicious and fun. Highly recommend.
