BROX Kitchen&Drinks Avenidas — Restaurant in Palma

Brox has a warm and modern interior, service is good, waiters are friendly and fast. Unfortunately, the food was average only (November '21). Duck Burger was extremely salt. I mentioned this, but waiter just shrug his shoulders, although i left 50% of it on my plate. The Chicken Strips were made of very thin slices of meat, with a thick layer of very dry coating. Maybe too long in the fryer, but too dry and lacks taste. The chef's Croquettes were nice! Filled with cheese and some confiture on top. Corn cob, chicken burger and goat cheese salad were also nice. As decoration, fried potato chips are used. Everywhere! Too dry to eat and could do with some taste. The orange potato fries looked great but lacked a bit of taste as well. Last item: If you sit in between the two entrances, you might experience a draft. Could be a plus in summer, but now it was chilly. Try to get a seat away from the doors. Would i go back? 'best I've ever had' is a phrase that is thrown around all too easily, but I can honestly say that the BROX burger I had yesterday was the best I have ever had. My wife said exactly the same about what she had too! Both of our burgers had more ingredients than you can shake a stick at, making for amazing flavour combinations. When we arrived at 20.30 the place was pretty much empty, but came to life from 21.00 onwards and the atmosphere was excellent. Read about BROX before getting to Palma and boy, did they not let me down. A gorgeously juicy burger (I had the BROX burger) with several elements that just shouldn’t work but so do (like really, really do). Had options of 120g and 200g, and stuck with the smaller size which was more than enough (having not long got off an airplane) and we accompanied them with truffle mayo and cheese chips (suitable to share between two).

Got serious food envy watching everyone else’s orders arriving at the table (and don’t get me started on how good the desserts sound). So good I even booked again for last dinner on this trip later...
