Really disappointing experience at cappuccino yesterday. Went there after a run around Palma. We waited to be seated and to ask if it’s ok to wear sports kit but staff were chatting inside/ignored us so we seated ourselves outside. Someone eventually came over and immediately told me I needed to cover up. I was wearing a racer back sports top, and high waisted 6” running shorts. No cleavage showing, no belly button on show and shorts to mid thigh. Meanwhile young girls with their families are seated wearing strappy crop tops and short shorts, and people are allowed to smoke in the covered outdoor area. It says a lot about a companies values that they are more concerned about a woman covering her shoulders, aligning with outdated male ideas about decency, than the health effects of second hand smoke for their own staff and customers. We ended up staying for food which was equally disappointing, and overpriced despite the central location in Palma; €15 for a small granola bowl, €7,50 for a small latte. Wouldn’t go back and...

After having pizza and cokes I ask the bill. Again nothing happened for 15-20 min, I asked the waiter who walked by if he could check where is our bill. This young man told us he couldn't care less about our bill and it was not his problem, we should ask someone else. I was amazed and asked what was wrong and he started cursing us (in Spanish) and he continued cursing until we left. There is no management in this restaurant to make things work, all chaos.
But one thing was not totally bad, the pizza was...
Read moreAs with all the Cappuccino brand this place is perfect, it's location, ambiance, service and food. If you want a great lunch or dinner and impress your date, this would be a good place to take them. The restaurant is spotless with a great terrace and view of the surrounding old town buildings. The way it is designed doesn't make you feel cramped and it is luxurious with great lighting during daytime and in the evening. Not a large menu, but it hits every spot, food is very good for what is supposed to be a coffee shop, this is not, it is a full restaurant that I recommend to everyone to visit if in Palma de Mallorca. Expect to pay €€€ out of €€€€ but it is...
