De China a Mallorca — Restaurant in Palma

Stumbled upon this new Chinese spot in Plaza España, Mallorca, and boy, am I glad we did! This place is top notch. You can tell it’s all in the details here, from the neat design to the well-crafted menus.

The food? Amazing. Tried the pork bao - think pork cooked in soft, fresh Hawaiian bread. So good. Also had the lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and fried rice. All of it, fantastic.

And the service was just as great. The Chinese couple running the show were super friendly and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. In an area where you usually pay an arm and a leg for food, this place is a real find. Affordable and delicious!

This cuisine doesn't have anything to do for me with chinese food. I've just ordered very simple food. Fried rice with vegetables. The rice was old and has been soaked in soja sauce for a long time? It was very unpleasant! Normally you get fresh rice and you put a bit of soja sauce, on top of the dish by yourself! The soup I've ordered was a tofu soup with vegetables and I believe it's also very simple to prepare. I've received a warm soup, thicken up with gelatine/ or egg white ? and soaked tofu, no vegetables anywhere! The soup was really disgusting to me! Absolutely overpriced for this dish! This place was wonderful, even though we came late they still allowed us to eat, which is our own fault as we were rushing for them to be able to close their restaurant 😅, but I was still able to take my food along with me. I ordered the €14.50 deal. I ordered the shrimp salad, I rate it 9/10 the sauce was a little tooo much that’s just my reason honestly and also ordered the fried rice with chicken, when they bring the food out the aroma was just amazing and tasted soo good🤤, I rate this 10/10.
