Won’t recommend! Worst experience ever!!! Employee was very rude…
So, a girl from the staff invited us to the table for 4, we sat at the table and after we ordered the wines they asked us if we eat and we replied that “we won’t for now cause we already eat”. After, 10 minutes another employee came (a guy with cheap full sleeve and neck tattoos) and asked us if we are eating, so we replied the same… instantly his attitude changed and told us if we aren’t eating we have to leave. We told him that we can’t because we already eat and maybe we will order something after we drink some more. Then, he started raising his voice and told us cause we have to finish our drinks and have to leave in 1 hour, because he has to give the table to other customers that are eating because the place has make money, because the place is opened 6 months per ear so he has to make money to pay the rent and he left. After, 30 minutes, the same guy came with the bill (we didn’t asked for it) and told us that we have to pay, so we paid and after that that he rudely said that we have to leave, told him that we haven’t finished our drinks and we paid for them. This guy I don’t know what did he took, cause he was in a bad trip…
We left anyway, because we were in a vacation and didn’t want to ruin it for one idiot.
Dude, close the joint if you can’t afford to pay the rent… would recommend you buddy (cheap tattooed guy) to ask the customers at the entrance if they are eating or drinking and out them at designated tables 😉
Now I know why this place wasn’t full like the other places next to it…...
Read moreWOW - so where do i begin Ceviche was amazing tuna was WAAY to salty and i did not send it back as the waiter was SO SO rude an unpleasant
Service with the blued eyed STORY teller "liar" waiter was interesting, he told me he had a house on a hill in Bali Uluwatu and could see the gillie islands, that was when i laughed out loud inside, he was the rudest waiter i have ever had in my life LITERALLY
i sent my drink back as it felt watered down, i was super polite and he was so dismissive rude and aggressive, I feel sorry for the owner of this restaurant, as the food was good, but the head waiter really made this experience unpleasant - and not to mention made a total fool of himself telling me he lives in Bali Uluwatu is on the opposite side of where the gillie islands are so the story telling was GRAND i have lived in bali 17 years ---- I would not return here as he made me feel very un welcomed -- and the tuna was really not great, but i did not send it back as i just wanted to get out of the space, not to mention i spend over 88 EURO and felt so uncomfortable the entire time i was there - Nice one blue eyed tattoo waiter - you should level up on your people skills and be more mindful when you start telling BIG tales of having houses on hills in Uluwatu there are no hills in uluwatu only Cliffs ..... At least get your...
Read moreWe were recommended the restaurant by the hotel we stayed in, on the basis of wanting authentic paella. The hotel mentioned it was on the marina and that usually rings bells with me as I believe these types of restaurant are more about where they are not what they serve. This was somewhat the case here, we first ordered 'old fashioned' cocktails which arrived, no where near a double measure of bourbon, more like a shot with nothing else, at 15 euros a total rip off.
No authentic paella here, not even a mention of valencian paella? We went for t-bone steak paella which to be fair was nice and flavoursome but again not worth the 40 euro each, price tag. Service was OK apart from the younger members of the team who came across as pompous and not friendly at all, a poor selection of pre-made desserts did not tempt us.
All in all OK, partly my fault for accepting the recommendation almost knowing what to expect, if you like to see and be seen this is probably the place for you, however if it's good food then there are far better and value for money...
