I had dinner here yesterday, and my impressions are very positive. The atmosphere inside is welcoming and cozy, with great air conditioning and ventilation — no strong kitchen smells at all. It feels light and comfortable.
The service is excellent: fast and friendly waitresses, drinks and food arrive instantly, and nobody makes you feel uncomfortable. I also liked that the restaurant is small — you don’t have to wait at all.
As for the food: • I ordered a burger recommended by the waitress. The bun was great, the meat fresh and high-quality, with a real tasty veal patty. But the sauce was too liquid and neutral, and it seemed that this burger didn’t include cheese. And cheese is exactly what makes the flavors come together — it was definitely missing. • I also had sweet potato fries. They were tasty, but only served with ketchup. In my opinion, sweet potato and ketchup don’t go well together since both are sweet. A different dip — like cheese sauce, garlic, or truffle — would be much better.
For drinks, I tried Moritz beer (from Barcelona) — a nice surprise and a great alternative to the usual Estrella.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Very good food, super fast service, and a friendly atmosphere. Just a little improvement with the sauces, and it...
Read moreI loved the ethos and background to this business it really is cool and special. All the burgers are named after friends or family, the owner himself, young lad, was on duty waiting tables. It was packed every night, well advised to call and book in advance, at least 12 hours before. It is unique and there's a decent choice. It was sweet that between four of us they just gave us an extra bowl of chips to share, free, as he thought we might want them, bless him.
The food was of a good standard, although I would say that the chilli was too tomatoey needs toning down a bit, the chips maybe need less cooking time, and one of the burgers we asked for medium well and it wasn't cooked long enough, but, that is not to detract from a very enjoyable meal, excellent service, fresh food, prepared and cooked in front of your face.
Really buzzy atmosphere, not pretentious at all, would go back at a drop of a hat or recommend this place to anyone going to Palma that want a decent burger, with a knife and fork and a genuinely amazing business to be...
Read moreLovely little place. Nothing very exciting about the location or the venue itself, but nice wooden tables and chairs. A very welcoming staff and the promise of a delicious meal. The staff is eager to explain that all ingredients are locally sourced and the burger options are only indicative. Change them as you wish! I had an excellent "sigui" chicken burger. The meat was cooked perfectly, juicy and not dry, on a grill, and the complements yo the burger were divine. The chews. The mushrooms and even the sour cream, full of chopped fresh dill). The homemade French fries were delicious too, being seasoned plentily with herbs and salt and pepper. I think the highlight wAs the home made ketchup. What a difference it makes compared to bought one.
This is a 100% recommended. It was cheap too, and I haven't found anywhere in London that would match that quality...
Staff is very German and English friendly too. Do book, as they are busy throughout...
