WORST RESTAURANT EVER.
I waited for an hour and more for one single person paella. I asked to cancel it because i do not have time to wait anymore and they keep saying 2 mins, 2 mins. Also, bread with ali oli arrived 30 mins after. I had to ask for it and go to the bar after waiting for a long time for it.
They gave me a small portion of “fries” for the wait but didn’t say how long would it take.
Not only was the service but so was the food. The paella was over cooked it also had no flavor and string beans in it. ???? And the Clara had more limón on it than beer.
I confronted the lady in the restaurant and she had nothing to say but “ paella takes longer than a wok” well obviously but this isnt the first paella i had in my life as I live in Spain. And told me since i finished it, it was good. Well obviously it was 2pm and haven’t ate anything that day. I also paid for my food so why waste 20€ on something I would throw.
Really NOT WORTH the money. A TOTAL WASTE.
I have not written a bad review on a restaurant even if it wasn’t good. This is the first time I write a really bad review because I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone in the future again.
Also, pinoy dn ako. Na excite kumain sa mga pinoy restaurants dito sa Palma, at sobrang mas better yung nasa malapit kesa nito, mga mababait pa yung mga nag serve. Nagsalita alo ng tagalog sa kanila pero inienglish lng nila ako. 😑 Sobrang...
Read moreUnfortunately, I have to leave a bad review. Usually most places I go to are either a good balance of food quality or service. Here, we experienced a bit expensive food (even for the area) with not so good quality and the server was not polite or interested in our business. I am trying to understand if maybe they were short-staffed and the regular cook was not there... That would explain it. Anyway, here's the story: there were four of us friends, each wanting to order an appetizer, entree plus a drink. It's possible we may have confused the worker, but he seemed annoyed with us about our orders and our questions. Overall, the bread used was not fresh, the aioli tasted more like garlic mayo, the gourmet burger didn't quite taste gourmet and the calamari seemed of the frozen kind. The lamb was such a small portion maybe 100g. I can understand this if the price was low... but the prices seemed high, too. The local beer was 5.50 for a pint...just around the corner 3. There was no drink menu so we couldn't really have an idea what it would be and the server didn't seem interested in telling us the drink options in detail. The location was great and the atmosphere was cute or quaint. The other servers seemed nice. I'm sorry if our server was having a bad day and I hope the kitchen or menu sees...
Read moreI rarely write such reviews, but this place is truly dingy. I've been to Mallorca a few times, to various local tapas bars, and sometimes it was old-school, but I've never seen anything like this. The bar/restaurant is located on the main street, so we went inside (that was a mistake – I guess it's better to breathe exhaust fumes than old oil fumes). The interior definitely needs renovation, but also a simple clean – dust everywhere, peeling elements, paint, etc. (The bathroom is nauseating). The staff do their best, but they can't improve the overall image. The food is acceptable (probably only because we waited so long). Besides the pizza – it was a regular margarita, which was strange (kind of sweet?), although the fried dishes smell of old oil (which, by the way, stinks throughout the entire place). Well… I don't foresee this place having a long future and I definitely don't...
