Tast Club is a wonderful experience if you’re interested in enjoying good food in an elegant environment. We initially came here because it’s one of my boyfriend’s favorite restaurants and it was truly worth the visit. We went there two times for dinner during our week long stay in Palma. The interior is amazing and the wine list long. The restaurant also offers many different cocktails, the frozen strawberry daiquiri was lovely. I tried the potato and onion omelette, burrata salad and the mushrooms and truffled cheese omelette.
My favorite is the mushrooms and truffled cheese omelette, it tasted like a delicious truffle pasta but as an omelette. The presentation of the omelette is quite underwhelming, as shown in the pictures, so I would love to see an improvement there. It would also be nice to have more vegetarian options, besides the omelettes and salads.
The service is good, especially the lady who helped us during our second visit. She made the experience many times better with her laughter and our light conversations. I believe her name was Anelie (spelling?).
Strongly recommend visiting the restaurant, don’t forget to try the chocolate lava cake with chocolate ice cream....
Read moreThe food was delicious! The service was nice and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming! It never got too loud while my wife and I were there and we loved each dish we ordered. I do not remember the names of each dish so sorry about that. But chronologically on the pictures, the first dish is an apple dessert served with Mexican ice cream, this was so delicious!! The apple dessert was good by itself but elevated so much more when paired with the ice cream! The cream and strawberry that also came with it were good as well! My wife got the caramelized French toast for dessert and it was also delicious! The next picture is a Limencello spritz I ordered, good drink. Lemony and strong so it's exactly what I expected. The next picture is a main dish she ordered, a tuna taretare (I don't remember which one exactly) and really good! She especially loved the sauces it came with, she said they paired well with the tuna. The next picture is what I ordered and it's a Leek Confited with Romesco sauce. It is on the salad section and was really good too! I would definitely order it again! The last picture is of the pulled pork brioche which,...
Read moreOverrated. Went there during, what I thought was an 'off peak' time. Around 3pm on a Monday afternoon. I was barely greeted, not seated, then I found my own place at the end of the bar to set up to eat. One of the staff then came over and plopped a thick reservations book in front of me while speaking to two other tourists who were crowding my space, and took 5 minutes to make their reservation. Don't mind me sitting there waiting to eat but being blocked by a book on the counter and three people breathing down my neck. Eventually they went away, food came, fork was dirty. When I asked for a clean fork the staff seemed to cop an attitude. Huffed and puffed and brought out the entire bucket of recently washed forks and then had the audacity to plop the fork... on a used paper menu on the counter instead of on the clean plate in front of me. I then asked for YET another fork and it was only then they realized this conduct is not appropriate. Long story short, this place is too popular for its breeches. So 'popular' that the service sucks and the food isn't all that mind-blowing either. I've had better 'Spanish Omelettes' in...
