Simple Indian food. I get the mango chicken and ordered extra white Rice 🍚. I would say the Chicken was middle dry but ok.🤷 the mango salsa was rather sober (rather tasteless). it lacked sophistication. no herbs, spices or nuts. no sharpness noticeable. Luckily there was a starter greeting from the kitchen with 3 different salsas (yoghurt, mango and something spicy with onions and ginger) so I could save the dish and then say goodbye in a somewhat satisfactory manner. I have to leave a split application for the staff, because what and how one waiter answered very attentively, friendly and courteously, the other made niece again with a bored and / or annoyed impression. As much as I felt with one, I felt so unwelcome with the other. although at one time he seemed to be friendly around the other. Very well seasoned, it had those perfect onions that are just kissed by the grill and so they're still crunchy but tasty. The fresh tomatoes and cucumbers were also a nice touch as something to cool your mouth between bites.
My companion got aloo gobi and also thought it was excellent, along with some garlic naan which was perfect. Thin and crispy and beautiful. We also paired the meal with mango lassi's which did not disappoint either.
The waiter was exceptionally friendly and made sure everything was good. He also brought out those thin crackers with three sauces for us to try, which were lovely and i quite enjoyed the spicy one.
Would absolutely come back if i were in Puerto de la...

Coming from the UK it feels like we are spoiled for choice when it comes to excellent quality Indian food. Due to the disappointing attempts at Indian food in Puerto de la Cruz, we decided to try a takeaway this time, rather than the expense of eating in the restaurant. However in Aromas de la India, we finally found an Indian restaurant in the North of Tenerife cooking excellent authentic Indian dishes. We tried the chicken tikka rogan Josh, chicken Shaslick, mushroom rice and a favourite from home, coriander and chilli nans. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food. We will be booking a table for a follow up meal at the restaurant. Highly...
