Food was good. I had the patacas ali-olí, scallops & razor clams. Great flavor for all of them, the reason for my rating is service. I was there with my friend after having completed the Camino earlier in the day, while they ordered Raxo (comes with potatoes) they ordered that for themselves as they don’t like seafood. I ordered the above 3 dishes for myself, with the patacas to share. I also wanted the mushrooms but when the waiter was taking our order and I asked for them, he told me it was too much food & walked away. So he didn’t allow me to order the mushrooms!!! Mind you the razor clams are about as long as a child’s finger & half the size. And the scallops weren’t very large, from the picture you can see there was one significantly large but the rest were pretty small. So I was really disappointed when I wasn’t allowed to order what I wanted & was willing to pay for. After we finished they offered dessert, politely declined & went to another restaurant to get more seafood (percebes) and dessert which was amazing!!! Much friendlier & less judgy (o gato negro) if you are wondering, definitely recommend that spot! This is a “nicer” restaurant, well seasoned food, but the vibe just was not for me. Also the sangria was too sweet...

I visited the restaurant and unfortunately, I didn’t have the best overall experience.

About the food: The food quality was average, but for a quick dinner, it was just okay. I had a salad and a steak. The salad seemed pre-made. The steak was also just okay; the quality of the meat didn’t stand out, especially considering the area is known for amazing food.

About the service: The service was a complete disaster. The server was extremely rude. He spilled water from the bottle while opening it and had a poor attitude throughout, making me feel unwelcome. When I ordered the steak, he didn’t even ask how I wanted it cooked (e.g., rare, medium, well-done) and brought me a medium-rare steak, which I didn’t enjoy. Except for a young lady who was polite and smiled, the rest of the staff seemed quite rude. In addition, the restaurant was 80% non Spanish speaking tourists and I noticed the waiters were quite annoyed that had to speak English. I understand it’s a demanding job, but where is the hospitality?

Never...

I don’t understand why they pretend that they know English even they don’t have to. The atmosphere and food were just fine but the attitude of certain staff was really disappointing. We ordered scallops but they offered mussels which is understandable because they are next to each other on the menu. But we double checked with the staff in English and he insisted the dish IS scallop. So we just took it since he seemed to be so convinced. It was mussels on the bill. When we were checking with other staff they were saying like it’s not going to happen. Weirdly the staff who served the dish insisted that he TOLD us that dish is mussel and rolled his eyes at us even we were just sitting under the surveillance camera and they could easily know what happened. Other staff kept asking us WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO making it like we just want free food. They didn’t charge us for the mussels at the end but it was a really unpleasant experience to end the...

One of the few restaurants that was open throughout the lunch-dinner break. (Most Spanish restaurants have lunch and dinner really late and close between 4pm to 8pm) Ordered the following dishes 1. Zamburinas (scallops) The star dish of the night. 8 pieces for 14 euros. The scallops were so fresh you could still taste the natural sweetness of the scallops. Do note that there is another item on the menu called "Grilled Scallops" which is much cheaper at ~7 euros but apparently the waiter says it is much smaller. 2. Porchini mushrooms with prawns The mushrooms were very tasty and the garlic was stirred fried perfectly without being burnt. However it was a bit on the salty side. Still a great dish for sharing 3. Raxo (pork cut in pieces with chips) Oh my the portion was huge. Yummy but slightly salty. Overall, great restaurant and you must order the zamburina scallops!
