Arroceria served up the most incredible paella I've had in Sevilla. This unassuming little gem far surpassed all my expectations. The flavors were absolutely spot on and I’m glad I found this toward the end of my trip here. Big shoutout to Maria Isabel who helped us at Arrocedia. She was incredibly kind in helping us to decide between the different flavors of paella. Clearly she’s the paella queen and knows her paella! Arrocedia offers a variety of paella flavors to choose from, and each one is a winner. My girlfriend and I ordered both the seafood and the pork paella. We were blown away by the freshness of the ingredients and the seasoning. The balance of flavors was amazing and it wasn't overly salty. Plus, they got the ratio of meat to rice just perfect. My girlfriend loved the pork one so much she went back for seconds!!! Arrocedia is tucked away from the touristy spots by the Catedral, allowing you to enjoy a genuine paella experience. And the fact that it's situated in a clean and comfortable Mercado only adds to the charm. If you're looking to avoid tourist traps in Seville and indulge in some outstanding paella, Arrocedia is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

When the rain in Sevilla decided to pour, we found refuge at Mercado del Barranco—and let me tell you, this place delivers. Think trendy food hall meets cozy hideout, with enough options to keep even the pickiest eater entertained. We made ourselves right at home at the bar because, let’s be honest, that’s where the magic happens. A couple (okay, several) Tinto de Veranos later, we were fully committed to the good vibes. The jamón, Serrano, and cheese boards were the stars of the show—so good they almost had us reconsidering our life goals (how hard is it to become a professional jamón taster, anyway?). With lots of eateries to explore, it’s the kind of place where you’ll keep saying, “just one more bite,” and before you know it, you’re in a blissful food coma. Rain or shine, Mercado del Barranco is a must. But if it’s raining? Even better—you’ll have the perfect excuse to stay for round three of Tinto de Verano.

We found this place and it became one of our favourites on our trip to Seville. Overall the food and drinks were a good cost for great quality. One thing we did find confusing was if you could sit inside in the 'fancy' middle seating if you went and got your own food, or if it was waiter service only. People didn't tend to know you had to be seated in this area, and it would be helpful if there was some signage. Outside had some lovely seating areas as well with music that makes it a great environment to relax. Overall a 10/10 even with the seating confusion. Some of the things we had were: Bravos Potato's, Tomato Salad, Empanadas, Salami Pizza Spice, Cheese Selection, Coconut and Mango Dessert Slice, Pistachio Cheesecake.

On the city side of the river by the Puente de Triana this popular food and drink market offers a bright and airy food court with lots of outdoor seating. Food ranges from oysters to cakes, sandwiches and traditional tapas. Champagne and fine wines or large beers. A Sommelier was present for higher end feasting. Very modern and sparking toilets for those who struggle with traditional bars. Polar opposite to the Mercado de Triana on the opposite bank. ( Under renovation.) Opens at noon. We bagged the first table. Soon filled up. In 2024 Casta tried Poke for first time. Nice but not sure what is '' new '' about it. The rice flavour is lovely.

Slightly out if the way but still near important landmarks. Has an assortment of gourmet carefully made hand food variations on tapas. Wine bar. Beer bar. Ham bar. Olive bar. Cheese bar. Empanada (de chorizo!) Stand. Paella stand. Even pasta and Mexican (why?!) Grilled meats. we tried five kinds of foods! Food is four star but the variety and fun setting is a five! Desserts galore. Inside and outside informal seating. Cute building by the river and the beautiful bridge. Prices better than your usual tourist spot. Don't miss it! Update. ..we added the local pringa. That's a five star.... ...and yes...they have two espresso machines...

A nice compact market with several food vendors. It doesn't compare to other famous markets like those found in Madrid and the Triana market 5 minutes away has more character and options but this market gets the job done. It's pricey compared to the rest of Sevilla, but there are some really delicious items if you browse carefully. Great place for coffee/beer/wine and a snack. The location is very convenient if you are staying in the area. I would definitely visit if you are in the area but I wouldn't travel far to visit.
