Nuevo Mundo Restaurante — Restaurant in Seville

For those who only want a verdict: Absolutely recommended, you should go there! For those who want to know a little more: I rarely (or never) review restaurants, so the fact that I do now already says a lot about my experience.

I went to "Nuevo Mundo" after finding it on Google Maps more or less by coincident, so I knew they had good reviews. After arriving (it wasn't really close to my hotel, but don't let that be a reason!), I found the rather small and "low-key" restaurant (so don't question that in case you expected something bigger or fancier) and was happy to get a free table without a reservation.

Service was very friendly and attentive – it's a small team, but they really do it so well. So what can I say? In a bit more than two weeks in Madrid and Andalucía, this was easily the best supper I've had. And I don't think that I've just been lucky with my choices, so you probably can't do much wrong. But for me, especially the "Pulpo a la gallega" and the "Champiñónes con ajo" were absolutely delicious!

A MUST in Seville! The food is incredible, the best we had. When traveling, you discover gems that you’d definitely return to if you visit the city again and this is one of those. Unforgettable. Only opened 4 months ago but already a favourite with locals and being discovered by tourists like myself too. It caters for meat and fish eaters as well as vegetarians and vegans, so refreshing to be able to eat delicious, quality food together and everyone be happy and satisfied. The artichoke was amazing, as was the sirloin in whiskey sauce and the hot cheese dish. We discovered this restaurant more or less by chance – and, as so often, it's the unplanned moments that leave the strongest impressions. We were warmly welcomed by the waitress, and the cuisine was both creatively composed and exceptionally flavorful. Compliments to the chef! We tried three different tuna dishes, each with its own distinctive and well-balanced flavor profile. The wine list is also thoughtfully curated and offers excellent pairings.
