Senor Cangrejo is a chef restaurant with an ambitious and local wine menu with prices above average. All the seafood we ate were layered plates, but we can't say we like them all. Oysters (€5.5) were of good quality. Marisco Aguachile (€16) was another good one. The sauce was amazing. Chawanmushi crab (€9) has become too complicated when it wants to make a difference, we didn't like it. We decided to try Pargo (€28) as a fish and we liked this new taste. Let's come to the critical notes: We had the chance to watch the kitchen with the advantage of sitting in the bar. I think the mismatch between the employees and the fact that the faces never laughed were not a suitable image for this concept. Although we were the first customers of the evening session, it was not very enjoyable to see the boredom on the face of the whole team. However, the Sommelier lady became the star of the night with her explanation and her conversation in the tasting of Cortado. In our opinion, prices are expensive for...
Read moreWhere is the 6? This restaurant busts the rating scales on every front. We arrived just shy of 9 and the place was quiet. Our very friendly and professional waiter, Nico, greeted us and offered us a high table with a full view of the bar and open kitchen. We left the staff create a special menu for us stipulating only we didn’t want cheese. They told us special menus averaged 70€; in the end, we were full to the eyes and they charged us 65€. Incredible value for the quality and generous portions . We enjoyed 2 small dishes, 2 mid-sized dishes, one exquisite small squid, and a thoroughly delicious and very generous cheek and neck of fresh cod. Coming from Canada where there is/has been abundant cod, this was the best ever. The staff were attentive, friendly and motivated. The space is funky, informal and well designed. The noise level was perfect. By 10, the place was hopping for good reason. Book early. And remember this place is a...

The chef’s creative fusion of classic Andalusian cuisine with international influences was flawless. The clear respect for local produce really made the dishes shine. Despite the ever-changing menu, it was impressive how knowledgeable the staff were when explaining the ingredients and the history behind each course.
This restaurant has an amazing and extensive wine list, with many options available by the glass. Since this was our first visit, we decided to go for the wine pairing. The use of unconventional wines was a daring move, but it paid off incredibly well and was accompanied by a wonderful explanation from the sommelière.
I can keep going on however don't want to stretch this review to far.
In short, I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be coming back to Sevilla to...
