VIPS — Restaurant in Seville

Obvious tourist trap We came into the restaurant as a group of 9. We used the app club.by and saw that this restaurant was part of the same group as ginos We ordered our food. We received our starters which were ok nothing special or life changing.

Then came the dogs dinner that they called the mains which honestly if you served that food to a prisoner it would violate some form of ECHR rules.Every single dish that we ordered was just tragic. The burgers were full of grease of grease. The carbonara was covered in cheese.if the aim was to make people sick then mission accomplished.There was a new and improved recipe on the menu which we tried and I worry whoever tried that previous recipe might no longer be with us.

We complained to the manager who I can only describe as Patrick star just with less intelligence. We complained to him and he rudely came out and threw a coupon on the table for 10% off and acted as we were doing him a favour. Then we complained again and tried to explain to him that we would pay for the starters and drinks and some of the meal. He offered to take off one dish from the bill as he saw a member of our party throw up.

Then he threatened to call the police which we said sure. Now since we had no issue paying the bill we were ok with Patrick star calling the police as we had nothing to hide. It's not our fault that Patrick fails to understand that you cannot serve excrement and expect to pay for it. In the end of the police came in and he ended up giving us 50% off the bill. There was a waitress who tried her best which we appreciate however there was a waitress who seemed extremely aggressive who just placed the bill on the table and said nothing to us. That girl wasn't even serving us so don't know what her problem was with us. Maybe she could be involved with Patrick as she seemed to lack a fair bit of intelligence.

The chef should definitely be let go or retrained because someone human rights are being violated if they are eating this food. The waiter were touching their faces while serving customers. These guys would struggle to pour water out of a boot with the instructions on the heel.

They didnt let us take our lap dog in, We waited 20 minutes for them to take our order outside, waited around 45 minutes for our food, which was cold and some was inedible, we asked them to heat up our food and they had us waiting a further half hour to even take our food back, we then asked for the check and I calmly asked for some sort of compensation for our inconvenience to which Toni the waiter replied by angrily raising his voice at me and defensively told me that it was because of the kitchen and not because of him, then he proceeded to tell me I should go to another restaurant if I didn't enjoy the service. We paid 80€ for cold inedible food and a horrible waiter and were offered nothing but an invite to...

A disappointing experience. The service was unbelievably slow and seemed to have trouble remembering things. The air conditioning is fierce. Even as a refuge from the summer sun in Seville it is too cold. At the end I was eager to leave because I was shivering. Unfortunately, I had to shiver for longer because it took a very long time for the staff to decide to honour the coupon we were trying to use. It worked out amicably in the end but left a sour taste. The food is OK but you can get the same "OK food" cheaper elsewhere.

Our previous visit had not gone too well but we decided to give it a second chance for old times sake (used to be a great place to eat). Unfortunately, to avoid a repeat disappointment there will be no third...
