The food is good for my taste. I came to this place twice when I was in Toledo. The first day I had the seafood paelle and the second day I had the grilled octopus. My first complain is about the beer. During my two visits I ordered each 1 l beer. It came in a large carafe. Both times it was not entirley 1 l but only about 0.9 l each time. I could tell by taking pictures of my three 0.3 l filled up classes. On the second day it was similar so I asked using the deepl translator if I could have some more. She refused and tried to explain in Spanish that she even gave me more yesterday and that is why she gave me less today ... at least so I understood ... how did she remember?! Both days, I got less ... word against word, fine. But she seemed angry. I accepted, in my view nicely, that she wont give me more. The picture is from the second day, I mean how could you possibly know that it is 1 l? Of course it could be less ... or more ... it is hard to make it right ... When I asked for the check she came to me with a carafe of 1 l water and the carafe where they serve beer with and wanted to show me what 1 l water looks like in the beer carafe ... I just said I do not understand. The second thing, the final bill said 20€ for the grilled octopus. I said I thought 18€. She presented me the menu in Spanish where indeed it said 20€. I said on the English menu, the only one I got, it said 18€. She talked to her assistance and then presented me the English menu again where indeed it said 18€. Still I had the feeling that she expected me to just pay the 20€. In the end, without becoming any uncomfortable or so .. well the Spanish couple next table and the other costumers looked ... I paid only 18€ for the octopus and she said it was a mistake. All good, happens. However, all in all I cannot recommend this place. I read also the bad reviews about this place and there the owner responded to them saying if something is wrong say something and they try to make it right or even wont charge you when you dont like the food ... which I think is not necessay. If you dont like the food you still need to pay of course. However, if you get less beer it is valid to complain ... in my opinion. They should just give you what you paid for ... nothing more nothing less. I regret to have given tip the first day ... even so the stuff is nice in general.

Extremely great customer service. Very friendly owner. The server / owner / lady is amazing. Always on top of everything.

This restaurant is very clean. I like the atmosphere. The music is nice too, pop music but remixed in a relaxed way. The decor is nice and simple.

I came here a few times during my week long day in Toledo.

I got a variety of items here. I even got the Paella. The best Paella is in Valencia, but I will say the Paella here is good for being outside of Valencia. The seafood paella took over an hour to come, which means they actually made it fresh.

The other menu items are fantastic. I can tell they actually try to be a good restaurant. Especially for the price.

I love how clean the restaurant is and how they always clean the table.

I just wish they had stronger AC, but unfortunately that is an issue throughout Spain.

After a long quest in the sweltering heat for a taste of Toledo’s enterecot, our tired and weary feet led us to this lovely corner in the Old town. We were greeted by a warm-hearted lady, Yolanda, who always had a sweet smile on her face who brought the cold beers that quenched our then heat parched throats. We started with a Goats Cheese Salad to open our palettes to the main meal. The goats cheese salad was delectable and was a lovely introduction to what this restaurant had to offer. I then ordered the Cold Temperature Pork Knuckle sitting on a flavourful sauce with potatoes on the side.
