Thai Suvarnabhumi — Restaurant in Torrevieja

If you want authentic Thai food in Spain this is the place to come. I have been consistently disappointed with the Thai- Asian restaurants where the food is cooked by non Thai chef. I've travelled extensively in Thailand for 30 odd years & would say the food is even better than some of the bland stuff you get served in the main tourist areas in Thailand where the food is toned down for the tourists, which really annoys me. The food is more expensive than the typical menu del dia fare but in my opinion paying extra for exceptionally good food is acceptable. This restaurant is not for the cheap and pile the plate full with food brigade but if you want a quality meal hive this place a visit. It took us four years to finally try this restaurant. Obviously we were skeptical. I'll start by saying, it was very good. Why did it take so long? Coming from the States we usually think of Thai food as an inexpensive meal, usually around $6USD for an excellent curry. The prices here are a bit expensive, comparitively to those in the states. But we finally gave in and it was very good and worth the cost. The presentation of the dishes was above standard (someone really likes their flower carrots) and when I ordered it extra spicy they certainly delivered, it was the perfect heat, for us. Jetzt das negative die Kellnerin konnt leider fast kein Englisch dadurch war unsere Bestellung nicht vollständig insgesamt hatten wir 13 Gerichte die suppen4 stück hatte die Kellnerin nicht verstanden das heißt diese haben gefehlt also haben wir ca 30 Minuten gewartet unsere Haupt Speisen kamen als dann nochmals 10 bis 20 Minuten nichts kam fragten wir wo diese bleiben bis sich herausstellte das diese nicht aufgeschrieben wurden also waren unsere Haupt Speisen schon kalt und es gab keine Entschädigung Wenigstens mussten wir für diese nicht zahlen
