Bikini | Mercado Brunch & Tapas Bar — Restaurant in Valencia

I had high hopes for this one. When ordering the food I asked whether I could swap the pastrami by the smoked salmon, and was told that it would change the taste... I mean, that's correct but I am asking for it. Regardless this wasn't done. But that's not the main issue I have. I had the eggs benedict and the hollandaise sauce was not a hollandaise sauce. The sauce was watery (you can see on the picture how liquid it was), and very extremely bland. It was so watery that the piece of bread tasted and looked like it was dipped in liquid. The pastrami had too much pepper in my opinion. The bill comes in and we pay only to realise right after that they charged us an extra 9EUR (the initial bill was for 28), we mentioned it to the waitress and they fixed it right away. Would not...

Absolutely felt in love with this place! We came for a brunch. I got eggs with a fresh homemade bread and tasty sausages. My girlfriend head one of the best Benedict eggs with pastrami which I ever tasted. We got surprised how can such an ordinary dish look and taste so good at the same time.

We finished our feast with very tasty specialty coffee and divine homemade desserts. Whole experience was a culinary delight!!! Friendly and attentive staff add to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend for brunch or breakfast.
