It is a wonderful surprise to find a brunch location in the City Center of Valencia that offers such a varied menu of delicious choices. This is now the second location for Doux-Amer, which already has great success in the Cabanyal area. What is immediately noticeable about their menu is the varied choices that they offer which ensures you’ll never be bored ordering here. I lean towards healthy fare and Doux-Amer does not disappoint. Their veggie omelet was spectacular and surprisingly filling. The mix of fresh spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese and other ingredients was a delightful explosion of flavor. The quality of their whole grain bread was also a healthy addition to the dish. To compliment this entire dish, a shot glass of green gazpacho was also included (I’ve never tasted a gazpacho this good). What also got my attention quite favorably is the quality of their coffee. To top this experience, I was welcomed by the hospitality of Pedro who kindly introduced me to the concept of the restaurant and explained in detail all my questions with a very warm and friendly demeanor. A hidden gem in the heart of the city!

I was in town on vacation but also had to get some work done, and I happened to come across Doux-Amer Centro—what a find! Brand new, beautifully designed, and with an incredibly friendly owner who makes you feel right at home. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the location couldn't be better.

Whether you're just stopping by for a quick break or planning to stay and get some work done, this place is perfect. I ended up spending more time here than I expected—it’s just that good.
