I don’t really know where they found all the stuff that worked that shift when I went to this restaurant but it’s been the worst service so far in the city. While taking away the dishes, the waitress didn’t hold them properly and the rests of the food ended up on my coat.. And you know what? She didn’t even notice that, she just went away. If I didn’t attract their attention I think they would have done nothing. They offered to pay for the laundry and I really hope it saves my coat. But the evening was completely ruined. Of course nobody cares that it’s the only coat I have and I just don’t have any alternative for these days to wear. They didn’t say sorry either. The waitress that dropped food on my coat, I never saw her again. But it’s not the end of the story. When I was paying for the bill, they selected wrong currency and I got charged extra 6% of the total bill. And again no apology, nothing. I was just running away from that place before something else happened. I can’t really say anything about the food itself after that...
Read moreWent to this place based on the other reviews expressing its variety of the menu and well cooked grills. Well ... far from this ... the menu is very basic and you are mostly tied into a set menu ... my chuleton medium rare was chewy and quite tasteless ... my missus ordered the burger as it was the only item on the menu that comes solo .... the patties itself was not gourmet as expected and tasted pretty much like burger king. didn't have dessert. Th only reality of previous reviews is the price ... indeed ... cheap ... i have come to realise that in Valencia you cannot go on reviews alone. As long as the portions are big and the price is small the locals don't seem to care about quality. The only plus at this place is the service, the waitress was very pleasant and smiley, very positive. Would not go...
Read moreWhat a fantastic surprise! We stumbled on La Parrilleta while looking for a place to celebrate a birthday, and it totally exceeded our expectations. The grilled meats were just incredible—juicy beef, tender duck, some of the best ribs ever (they really do fall off the bone), a mix of tasty sausages, and grilled potatoes with a buttery sauce that was hard to stop eating. Need more proof? I took these pics as soon as the food was put on the table. :P
We also tried their grilled veggies, and they made the whole meal feel even more special—so fresh and full of flavor. Portions were really generous; we left absolutely stuffed and so happy. If you love Argentine food (or just great food in general) and you’re in Valencia, you have to try...
