Our evening at La Taska Sidrería in Valencia was nothing short of spectacular – a perfect blend of flavor, atmosphere, and hospitality.
We were warmly welcomed by Dario, whose attentive and friendly service made us feel right at home from the start.
To kick things off, we shared two starters: the classic Pimientos de Padrón, blistered green peppers sprinkled with sea salt – mild, flavorful, and with just the right touch of surprise – and a delicious Empanada Criolla de Ternera Gallega, a savory pastry filled with juicy Galician beef, rich in flavor and perfectly baked.
For the main course, we chose the standout dish of the night: the award-nominated Cachopo de Ternera Gallega, stuffed with Jamón Ibérico de Guijuelo and D.O. Gamoneu cheese. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, this dish was bold, hearty, and deeply satisfying – a true showstopper.
And then came the dessert: the Basque Burnt Cheesecake. Lightly caramelized on the outside, incredibly creamy on the inside – absolutely 10 out of 10. We would come back for this alone.
The ambience was equally impressive. From the stylish interior design to the warm, cozy lighting and authentic decor – the space captures the spirit of Northern Spain with a modern twist. You can truly feel the passion behind every detail.
In short: If you’re visiting Valencia, La Taska Sidrería is a must. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and service that makes you smile – a culinary experience we won’t forget...

Read moreService was not nice. Waiters always changed and they were pretty rude talking to us. We are not experienced with asturian food and ordered the cachopo but what we didn’t know was that there is different cheese that goes with it- strong cheese and not so strong. The waiter didn’t tell us though and when we got the food we couldn’t eat it because the cheese was way too strong. We told the waiter and he admitted that his colleague should have asked us which kind of cheese we wanted but at the same time he told us that he couldn’t do anything with the price and we had to pay it all. He even gave us the cachopo to take it back home even though we said we didn’t like it and couldn’t eat it. The rest of the food was ok but overall a pretty disappointing and expensive experience. Definitely not going there ever again and definitely not...
