I recently ordered from Ramen Shifu via Glovo, and while the experience had its ups and downs, I appreciate the effort they took to rectify the situation. I initially placed an order for beef ramen and Katsu, but unfortunately, the delivery only included the beef ramen. Upon realizing the mistake, I contacted the restaurant directly.
At first, there was some confusion on their end—they thought the correct order had been sent out. After a bit of back-and-forth, where I insisted it was their responsibility to address the missing item, they agreed to handle the issue themselves. I appreciate their willingness to correct the mistake, though it did take a bit of persistence on my part.
To their credit, once they acknowledged the error, they were quick to make it right. They apologized and arranged for the missing Katsu to be delivered to my flat, which was about 10 minutes away. Diego, the staff member who assisted me, personally delivered the missing item with a colleague on a scooter. This level of service showed a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, which I truly appreciated.
The food itself was enjoyable, with the beef ramen meeting my expectations in terms of flavor and quality, but the Katsu could have been better. However, the issue did delay our meal by over an hour, which was a bit frustrating, especially when you're looking forward to dinner with family.
As a gesture of goodwill, they also included a free dessert with the corrected order, which was a nice touch. I want to thank the staff, especially Diego, for their efforts to rectify the situation. Despite the initial hiccup, they showed professionalism in making sure we were ultimately satisfied.
While I hope no one else experiences a similar delay, I would still recommend Ramen Shifu for their tasty food and the care they took to resolve the issue. With a bit more attention to detail in their delivery process, they could easily avoid such problems...
