My recent visit to Cafe Kai at Hilton Hotel left me quite disappointed. Despite their enticing social media advertising of a "waffle wonderland," the reality was far from it.
Upon arrival, my party was the only one in the cafe, which already raised concerns. We ordered 5 waffles, and the initial 4 waffles came a staggering 1 hour after we placed our order. By that time, most of the ice cream had melted. To make matters worse, they provided cutlery a whole 10 minutes after serving the waffles, and we received only one knife initially. Shockingly, they served only 4 knives in total, leaving us waiting for another 10 minutes to get the rest of the knives.
The fifth waffle, which was part of our order, arrived after another 15 minutes, leaving one of our group without food for an extended period.
While the waffles themselves were decent, the overall experience was marred by the painfully slow service, disorganization, and the missing knives. I had finished my waffle by the time we finally received all the necessary cutlery.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their service for future guests. Such a promising concept deserves...

Additionally, there was a serious error in providing the delivery person with the correct contact information. The wrong number was given, which could have resulted in the cake not being delivered at all. Thankfully, the delivery driver managed to find the address, but this oversight caused unnecessary stress and could have ruined the entire party.
When I contacted the bakery to address these issues, I was met with a dismissive response, stating that the staff was busy and simply missed my request. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially considering the impact it had on my event.
I urge this establishment to take immediate steps to improve their communication and quality control processes to ensure that such errors do not occur in the future.

They mess the order all the time and even when you order online they don't seem to find the order prepared and have it secured until you arrive to pick it up. Even though the dine-in orders seem to delay without being properly taking notes of the order. Have to go to the counter and ask for a few times to get your food or drinks. Sometimes the staff seems unprofessional in speaking while taking the order too and turns into "I do not care" mode. Hotel management should take it seriously to train or retrain the staff assigned to Cafe Kai as soon as possible before it...
