Seedy low grade reception hall/private hall and bit better restaurant space. Mediocre staff reception and waiting staff alike and even to have a glass refilled, you need to make much effort. Food though was quite okay; nothing special compared to other things; ok. You need to pay for parking separately if you need to dine here. Overall, negative experience having participated due to having a singalong event; will not return if I can help it and will not recommend. Giving more than one star because food was okay and restaurant space is okay.
Update after reply: It is good you take note and improve. You have born much expense to develop the ambiance of the restaurant and to date, food is reasonably good, can improve yet already good (remember you had a great name for authentic Sri Lankan food earlier and expectations are high) and with a bit more polish and training of the crude staff (though better than your bake shop staff and maintenance), the restaurant can be great (remember you already have a good name). Regarding the reception hall; clearly you have a spent much on the furniture only; a little bit more attention to the rest of it can make a major difference. Look towards your restaurant to start with for inspiration for the...
Read moreBelow standard and unhygine food. I found a long hair in my curry plate. There was a Manager wearing formal attire with phone standing behind me, when try to attract his attention regarding the hair issue he sent a server who just cleaned my dish. Manager didn't came to talk about service recovery. Below average food and service- selling in higher prices. There is lots of better Sri Lankan food choices around the place. Protien selection is very limited, only some veggie items without any proper salad bar. Desert selection there was yogurt, some desert and a fruit salad dish just left in warm weather without any ice or chiller which completely food hygine violation. I took the fruit salad which is with papya and pineapple it was smelling foul like rotten. Also not a proper restaurant set up, in a large hall room left some table and chairs. Altogether a disasterous place to spoil your taste bud and the day. We never recommend anyone and Raja Bojun should do a soul finding to improve their food selection, hygine, Manager and service to...
Read moreWe found this place randomly browsing around Google Maps when we were looking for some tasty local food, and we were definitely not disappointed.
The restaurant serves buffet style, with at least half a dozen tasty curries and various other local foods of all sorts. They also had someone preparing hoppers with all the condiments fresh (and they were tasty, too!).
The restaurant is a little convoluted to get to. Once we found the location, we thought it was at, according to Google Maps, we were at a loss as to where the restaurant actually was. If it wasn't for a catering van of some sort parked nearby with the restaurant's name on it, we would have had a hard time finding it. You walk inside this unassuming door and take an elevator up to the restaurant.
Once we arrived the staff was friendly, service was quick, the decor was great, and, as mentioned, the food was amazing. Would definitely go back, since I couldn't try everything in...
