The Tuna & The Crab — Restaurant in Galle

I was pleasantly surprised seeing the menu that this restaurant is by the world famous chef himself! The menu had a lot of interesting crab options to choose from including some of the signature flavours from the Ministry of Crab itself. We were saving ourselves for MoC so we didn't try any of the crab though it did look very appetising. The food we ordered however was very delicious and we were very happy with what we ordered. The prawn dry ramen was very interesting and tasty - perfect balance of flavours with a deep rich prawn umami flavour coming through. The chicken 🍱 box was as advertised with a nice selection of sushi and really flavourful Chicken teriyaki. The egg wrapped sushi (forget the name of it) was very tasty as well. All in all, we had a really good experience. We have one comment though, the airconditioning at the restaurant was not keeping up with the heat and the single fan that was in the dining area didn't quite reach us - this could be a room for improvement but I didn't deduct points from the overall experience for this as the food...

Great food and atmosphere. The service was very great and was helpful by being able to try things not on the menu such as only avocado Maki and so on. The complimentary drinks were very nice I really loved the home made peach ice tea. The temperature and design of the area was perfect and I really loved the way they had such an open bar and vivid colors. They asked me if I was okay with having squid on my meal and them knowing not a lot of people like squid such as me they were okay with taking it off from the bento box this was great because it made the meal more perfect and again the service was just super and always there for me when I needed to order something or ask about any foods. Also they way they don’t have paper cards is super good for the environment and the iPads are a lot better as you can zoom in and might be easier for people who don’t have as good eye sight. Overall this place was great and the food was exquisite and the service was excellent and sanitary states were super.
