Ocean Bistro by Starbeans — Restaurant in Galle

I recently dined at this incredible restaurant, and it was hands down one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in Sri Lanka! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort.

The food was absolutely exceptional—every dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bursting with authentic flavors. The menu offered a fantastic variety, catering to both local and international tastes.

What truly made the evening unforgettable was the outstanding service, especially from our waiter, Prabath. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect dining experience. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm, professional demeanor added so much to our meal.

" Delicious Food & Bevarage, Value fo the Money "

I have been with my guest to Ocean Bistro by Starbeans for brunch on 23rd March 2025. I haven't made a table reservation. But upon arrival welcome by there team with presentable smile. Seated us inhouse. Offer bevarage & food menu.

Once we are ready for the order the team member got a order very carefully and some of the dish he explain very well. Because of my guest from Australia and make sure they wan a have there meal with less spice.

Place the order and by the time other team member came with drinks order we are gave them earlier.. Really tasty. Once we are enjoying the drink our food order serve. The food was yammy. All of my guest really happy with there meals.

Ambience : Starbeans has become our new favourite places to go to after a hard day at work to relax and enjoy the pure essence of Galle Fort. Situated at the heart of Galle Fort this place offers mouthwatering food with value for money, cold beers and hot or cold beverages, beautiful seating arrangements over looking the view of the sea. Suttle music during weekdays and an awesome musician on weekends to keep you on your toes.

Staff : Very well mannered and trained to perfection. Manager Nishantha is a highly qualified individual who works hard to keep the place up and running beautifully. Even the other staff are friendly and attentive to all of their customers always with a smile.

Location : Its based on the upstair of Dutch hospital building complex with a warm and attractive interior and exterior design.
