OGBG Bar & Restaurang — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

The concept was nice. It’s a beautiful restaurant, venue and the perfect summer hangout place. The issue we had was that it seems like the restaurant was understaffed so, it took awhile for them to seat us, take our order, for the food to come, and when we wanted to pay. We had Korean bbq and it was mediocre. My boyfriend loves the bulgogi (marinated meat) that comes with it, but for the price we paid, the banchan could have been better. We weren’t explained with what it is, so it was pretty much a guessing game then. The assortment of side dishes were not really very Korean. Plain cucumber slices with green onion, and the kimchi was the weirdest I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of Korean kimchi. The raw onion could have been sliced better as it was huge and thick. Very rude staff. So rude that can be even counted as impoliteness. Here is the story: I had to catch the last ferry to go back to my hotel. So after finishing my meal, I decided to get my stuff (bag, mobile charger etc.) as quickly as possible. For a second, I stood up to put my jacket on. Then the not-very-polite-from-the-beginnig lady approached and aggressively said : "if you want the bill... You wait for me to come to you"... I guess she thought I would escape without paying or whatever... Anyway, if I go back to Gothenburg, I don't think I will ever go to this restaurant again.

Wow one of the best lunch buffés I'm the city! For 125 kr (March 2019) you get three warm Asian fusion dishes with a sallad buffét from heaven! We're talking glass noodle sallad, chilis, cilantro, different types of soy, mango sallad, green sallad, seeds, tomato sallad, then shrimp chips. Coffee is included too. Very fresh food. The long line that welcomed us once we arrived around lunch rush hour was handled very quickly by experienced staff which was highly appreciated.
