Vietnamhaket Nordstan Femman — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Dined in last weekend while waiting for my train. The hostess was very nice and helpful. The menu gave many options, including multiple vegan choices. I had the #11 Mien Xao with tofu for 120 sek. I was given a very large portion that I could have shared, but I was very hungry that day and it was too delicious! Great comfort food.

I was very satisfied with the food, which would have earned an overall higher rating from me, however the service was severely lacking in cleanliness. If we hadn’t have been in a hurry, we would have gone elsewhere due to how messy it was. The used tray cabinets were completely full and every table had dirty dishes and trays on them, and it stayed that way for the duration of our visit. We had to pile other dishes up on another table in order to eat off a dirty table. It would have appreciated to have a clean place to sit and...

Very disappointed for multiple reasons:

The supposed "old" menu has the complete wrong price for the ban mi and the waitress simply hid the menu away as when we questioned the price on the menu (90SEK on the menu and it is really 110SEK - 90SEK is even shown on the menus attached to this shop on Google if you checked) The pho was very salty and does not taste authentic; the authentic pho is very light (most of the flavour comes from cooking the ingredients, e.g. bones for a very long time). Which implies the cooks took shortcuts to make the food. The beef was also very pale (it looked like chicken) and it is questionable the quality of the meat involved (or any ingredients in this matter)

Overall this place is way overpriced for the quality. Most likely the location inflated the prices and I would not recommend this place for any reason...

The restaurant cheated me out of a dish I ordered. Of choice of two soups, I went for one that included 3 types of meat. When I got my order, I realised there were two types of meat missing, chicken and pork. When I complained about it, their justification was they forgot to update their menu. No one pointed out the ingredients would be missing before or after I collected my food. When I asked for a refund, they denied one because I had eaten some of the food. When I asked them to replace the order with something else, they said the best they could do was add beef. Terrible...
