Chokladfabriken — Restaurant in Stockholm

Chocolate shop and café with options to purchase packaged chocolate and a variety of chocolate confections/pastries from the counter, for eat-in or take away. Menu of coffee and tea beverages as well. There were a few vegan options at the counter, which as a vegan I was excited to see. I decided on the vegan biskvi and a cappuccino with oat milk. The cappuccino was fantastic, but the biskvi was a disappointment. The almond pastry base was very stale (both in taste and texture), the mousse was very dense and the chocolate shell too hard - I had a difficult time using a fork to break it apart and biting into it when the fork proved too difficult was also unpleasant. Overall just hard and stale. Taste-wise, it was just okay and I personally found it too sweet. I wouldn't have it again....

I live in Germany, and my best friend move to Sweden, Stockholm. On 23rd of Jan, he turned 30 years old. Due to Corona regulations, I can't travel there to celebrate his birthday. 🥺 So I have searched a lot, how I can order a cake and also to pay since I don't have swish. I found this shop and I read all reviews.

I can tell you, the vegan cake that I order made his day. As I saw the picture, it was beautiful, and as he said not only beautiful but also delicious. Chocolate and berries are his favourite 💖

If one day I come to Stockholm, I will come to your shop to say thanks in a person.

Came for hot chocolate after reading reviews. I got the milk chocolate with extra side of whipped cream and marshmallows. Good all separately but when combined - too sweet. So recommend you go for the dark chocolate and add. We also got a block of the sea salt caramel- was too salty? (I ended up crushing the salty chocolate into the sweet hot chocolate. Did the job) Anyways nice little place. Would just switch things...
