Indian Street Food & Co — Restaurant in Stockholm

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE-STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAFE!! This was the most disgusting Indian food I have tasted in Stockholm. My husband vomited within 15 min of leaving the resturant and I had nausea and stomach ache afterwards. We had ordered chicken kathi roll, a veg thali and masala chai. Both the dishes were bland and flavourless. The pudin chutney was a joke... Only curd with negligible herbs and no salt. And I had no idea Indian eats kathi roll with barbecue sauce, the most horrible combination ever... The tea was the most surprising experience, they are making fools of swedish people by claiming they serve masala chai. There was no hint of any spice in that chai not even ginger!! On top of it the tea just tasted like hot water with few drops of milk and brewed tea. It was disgusting. They ruined my evening and i recommend everyone to stop...

I went there with my friend, both Indians, and we we were a bit disappointed. Not with the food really, we had the deconstructed samona and a club sandwich, which was quite tasty and reasonably priced. The issue was the chai, it was quite frankly one of the worst chais I have had. It was too watery and bitter and probably had few drops of milk. This is not the chai we were expecting and given how much we enjoy chai and snacks, this chai managed to spoil our entire experience. I shouldn't be paying 30 SEK for a chai like that.

It was also disappointing given how this place was centrally located and attracts many customers.

Again, this rating is to draw attention to the really awful chai. The food tasted quite good...

We were coming to the end of our trip and our desire for Indian food was pretty high now. We stopped here for lunch on our last day while walking on Drottninggatan street. We were quite hungry. We ordered a Dal bowl, a paneer kathi roll and a tandoori soya kebabs taco. We wondered if this would be enough or should we order more. We decided to wait. The dal bowl had dal, black beans, naan, rice, raita, salad, papad and samosa! I'm glad we didn't order more food, because this was a lot! They're doing themselves a disservice and need to do a better job advertising. Either by including the list of items that come with the bowl in the menu or by adding a picture of the dish. Everything was really good!...
