Muffin Bakery — Restaurant in Stockholm

Absolutely disgusted by this place. Myself and my partner chose to pick up two smoothies and two pieces of dessert, apple pie and chocolate cake. As I was walking and drinking my mango smoothie I noticed some hair-like mould around the top of the plastic cup where the yogurt product had clearly not been stored well and was god knows how old! Convinced this was a once off I threw away the smoothie and tried to get over it as I understand accidents happen especially with yogurt products. About an hour later we sat down in our hotel to eat our cakes. My apple pie didn't taste overly fresh but regardless I ate it, 3 quarters of the way through the cake I moved a slice of the Apple from the top of the cake only to see a HUGE PATCH OF GROWING GREEN MOULD. Upon further inspection, even the takeaway box provided to take the cake away in with covered in black dust.

If you choose to eat anything from this shop you must have nerves of steel, I have never seen anything like it in my life and I'm utterly disgusted to have spent 20 minutes gagging and cleaning my teeth after ingesting god knows how much out of date and unsanitary products.

Would never visit again and would certainly recommend you don't either. I begrudge the one star I had to give to...

I was out with my daughter and she needed to go to toilet quickly, so we headed to the closest café and I ordered a coffee, but asked if we could use the bathroom first. This wouldn’t do and she made us wait while she made and after charged for the coffee until we were “allowed” to go. She handed me the coffee as if should have brought it to the toilet with me!

When I tasted the coffee, it tasted awful and I asked for more cream. She reclutantly gave me a tiny bit more and I tasted again, and asked again a bit more.

Arrogantly - as she had been the whole time she declined and said this is how we have it here and made a rude gesture with her hand letting me know she wasn’t gonna give me any more cream.

Can’t remember ever having had such a bad service. Coffee went to dumpster.

We were all dressed up nicely and well behaved, so cannot understand why such arrogance.

Good café at Drottninggatan. I tried their banana muffin which was very tasty. The muffins are more interesting than the regular coffee shop chains and many other Swedish cafés. Prices are also slightly below the big chains. The place is quite nice, but it gets loud from the sound of people talking because of ecoing in the room. I like that they seem to be experimenting with different muffin tastes, some tastes turn out extremely tasty but some not so much. When we entered we couldn't find prices for muffins and pastry so we had to ask, pricing should be displayed better, especially as they actually have alright prices.
