Mandarin City — Restaurant in Stockholm

Regular at this buffe restuarant since years back. Been here with every member of the family. Anyone who likes chines/asian will like the food here, the buffe that is. The price has increased which isn't good seeing that nothing on the menu or the buffe has changed. I believe it is now 180 kr per person dinner time for a buffe excluding drinks which is alot. Don't eat the sushi cause it isn't good. I would recommend the raw buffe where you make your dish and the chief cooks it for you on the spot that is the only thing we touch when we go here including the deep fried large shrimps that they have in the hot buffe section. When fresh out these shrimps are good and salty as should be. The buffe includes fried banan with ice cream however it doesn't say anywhere other than on the menu if you ask for one and look inside. A big chance that a lot of guests don't know they can have that and not just the dull fruit which is sitting opposite the hot buffe along with a yucky apple pie cannot believe people eat that. So it feels like a rip off of the banan and ice cream. Not cool. This restaurant charges 8 kr for a glass of water. The waitress had the nerve to tell me that they pay for the water thus they charge. Get the ballony out of my face with that bull this country charges electricity like everywhere else but not water. This water issue has happened to me before at other also chinese restaurants and they have it on their menu. I just don't understand it and never will. It’s been really a long time since I had such bad food in stockholm. To the point of having to spit the sushi after reallly trying to eat more than 3 pieces and trying to have my money worthwhile. The fish is not fresh at all, i saw how they were defrosting it and it tasted so bad that i stopped eating all fish, after trying different types. The wok, ehich there is no tofu option (because meat i didn’t dare to eat after that kinda fish experience, don’t wanna die here plz) was so bad that i had to leave it too. People are nice but still on top of the terrible food they charge 8sek for the water. For tap water. Never experienced that before in sweden. Few options as well. You can find better asian buffes for cheaper price. I wanted to explore and come here because I was close but def regret it. It is a nice asian restaurant with a friendly service. The restaurant has this great chinese vibe. The buffet is cute and has everything it needs, sweet sour chicken, duck, thai curry, dumplings, spring rolls, sushi, noodles, rice, salad, fruits etc for 145sek (including a soda). It is a quite fair price when you compare to general stockholm prices. Next time i will go for the lunch box instead (109kr), as buffet is too much for me/the price. I will definitely come back since they have my beloved deep fried sweet sour chicken, which is usually hard to find in stockholm.

Overall i think the food is a 4-4.5 but i am giving 5 stars, as 1000 reviews pulled the avarage down to 3.8 which i dont think...
