Mongolia Djingis Khan Barbecue — Restaurant in Stockholm

Food was really great, been there a total of three times but the last time I was there together with my family and friends on a holiday the service was completely awful.

We were a bit late on our reservation and were a total of 8 people. The male waiter or if it was the manager was really rude and although it was almost two hour until they were closing and fairly empty I asked if we could sit at a specific table as we were celebrating a holiday the waiter/manager refused us it.

But that wasn’t a problem in itself but rather the way he did it, that is instead of saying it nicely the way you are supposed to decline a request in a nice way when you are in the service industry he just said no in a rude way.

Zero explanation whatsoever. I told part of our group to sit down while I would get the other group and went to pick the rest of the group from the subway. I told to those part of our group staying in the restaurant in the meantime to just wait until we arrive before they start eating and the waiter/manager told them 3 times they are closing 10 PM.

When I finally arrived I asked one more time about the other table as we wanted a nice table for the holiday and he refused rudely and then REMINDED again that they were closing 10 PM although he had already done it three times to the others in our group so I said I understood but should we do, leave the restaurant although there was 1-1,5 hours left, and he said no but keep in mind bla bla. And then I confronted him and told him that he didn’t need to be so rude and he just got mad and I said we can go to a different place if that was going to be the tone and he replied yes sure as we went ahead and left.

The dining experience was generally enjoyable during my previous visits, but on the most recent occasion, which happened to be a holiday gathering with family and friends, the service was disappointingly poor. Despite being a bit tardy for our reservation and a party of eight, the male waiter or perhaps the manager displayed rudeness when we requested a specific table for our celebration. Instead of politely declining, he bluntly refused without explanation, even though the restaurant was nearly empty and closing soon.I left part of our group at the table while I went to collect the others from the subway. During this time, the waiter/manager repeatedly reminded the seated group about the closing time, which was unnecessary and unprofessional. Upon my return, I made another attempt to request the desired table, only to be met with the same rude refusal and unnecessary reminders about the closing time.When I questioned his behavior, he became defensive, escalating the situation further. Faced with such poor treatment, we decided to leave despite ample time remaining before closing. Overall, the experience was marked by rudeness and a lack of customer service, making it difficult to recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience beyond just good food.

I do not recommend this place because of the behaviour and rudeness, there are plenty of good places like in vasagatan 8 Stockholm. We had an enjoyable experience with good food there, and the waiters there were happy to serve and that made a...

With comments update We went to this buffet restaurant, and when we arrived, we took a very small amount of food (less than one-third of a typical adult portion). While we were waiting for the food (haven’t eaten anything), another friend of ours had a medical emergency. We offered to pay for one person’s buffet fee and leave, but the restaurant refused. The staff’s attitude was extremely poor and showed a complete lack of sympathy, even though one of us needed to leave to help a friend who had just experienced a medical emergency. [UPDATE on 10th January 2025] Instead of understanding they were rude and lack of sympathy, they are now trying to accuse us of only paying one person's food. Unfortunately, we have bank record of price of two people's dinner. Plus, it is amusing that they trying to make it sounds like I shouldn't be sitting there eating my food in their opening time.
