My friend and I came here based on the reviews we read online. Everything was fine until the waitress dropped the bill on the table without our asking for it. That was the first time I had ever experienced anything like that! Without further explanation, even when I looked at her with a question on my face, she didn't bother to explain. As a result, after paying the bill, I approached the manager to inquire as to how and why this is permitted to occur. Other tables were still full of people conversing and having a good time. I believe the waitress at Giro Pizzeria Napoletana needs to retrain herself on how to treat customers. All of the people there were white, and I got the impression that because I was an Asian guy who didn't dress like everyone else, she thought she could treat me and my friend the way she did. It was a huge letdown and a disgrace to this establishment because this level of service should not be permitted. Assume you're out with a friend when a waitress appears out of nowhere and hands you the bill with no explanation. That is impolite and disrespectful to the guests. The manager and two other waiters were constantly looking down at me and my friend, as if we didn't have the right to sit there and eat. For your information, we can afford the food but did not purchase it. For the record, we can afford the food and did not request any additional services. We were there to relax and enjoy some pizza and white wine. We haven't even finished the wine yet, and they want us to go. Once again, appalling! I would never recommend a restaurant where the food is mediocre and the service is terrible and unappealing. I would never recommend this location because it will ultimately ruin your day. Even when they were in the wrong, they didn't bother to apologize. Shame on this establishment and its management! I hope they change management and hire people who enjoy working. It's not just working for the sake of working. Hospitality is a service industry, and the customer's comfort is paramount. Hospitality is a service industry, and the customer's comfort should be a top priority. Because that is a vital step in the...
Read moreIn our last night in Stockholm we were looking for some place to have dinner not too far from our hotel because we did have a really early weak up. I did find on Maps an italian pizzeria 50 metres from our hotel with some good reviews so we decided to try it. It was a very good choice. I did book a table on line (it was very easy), a couple of hours before, then we went with the hope to eat some good pizza. The staff where very kind, the showed our a table a after some minutes they took our order. The first impressive thing was the speed of with our pizza arrived to the table. Then we saw that they were really italian style pizza, or neapoletan pizza. Really good ingredients, perfect cooked, and it was really digestible. We order some dessert too and a couple a beer. The staff speak perfect english and some of them italian because that's their mother language. The place has a beautiful vibe, the style it's industrial type, very clean and neat. I can recommend enough. It was the best napoleatan pizza that I did eat outside Italy. If you are in Stockholm give it a try you will not be...
Read moreRude staff that acts superior and looks at you visibly disappointed when you ask them if it's possible to have your pizza not as burned as the other ones you've seen coming out. Some of them were literally black on top, I really don't know how other folks don't understand a pizza shouldn't be looking like this. Needless to say, even after politely asking, I received a charred pizza nonetheless, from which I had to take away a third of dough since it was unedible. So not only the server made me feel like my requests were "crazy" with his inappropriate expressions, but he also evidently didn't bother asking the pizza makers about my request at all. Taste was nothing special, I took one with mushrooms and they tasted like they were taken right out of a tin can, it was honestly quite unappetizing. Truly, truly far from the Neapolitan standards, and mind you, I've seen and ate plenty being born and raised there. Also, price wise? 25€ for a medium sized pizza with truly mediocre toppings and a charred black dough is absolutely ridiculous... Avoid and search for a better, more humble...
