A friend living in another country was visiting and I met her at this place. We ordered a cocktail each. Mine with alcohol and her was alcohol free as she had to work super early. We hadn’t seen each other for months so we were consumed with each other. Suddenly a waitress asks us to pay. Clearly wanting us to leave. When she came back I asked if it was due to a reservation since we wanted to stay and order more. We intended to have more cocktails and dinner. She said yes. We were sitting at the bar and I felt like she was not honest. Before leaving I asked another employer if people reserve the seats by the bar and the answer was you can if you want to. The bartender heard and said you’ve been sitting for two hours and just had one non-alcohol drink. I asked you if you wanted something else several times and you didn’t answer. First of all, I had an alcoholic one. Second of all, if people don’t respond, maybe try to actually get their attention? Not ONCE did I hear anyone try to talk to me/ask me something. I get that they don’t want people sitting and not order, but we were super deep in conversation and were not aware of the time. Not only that, there were seats available and there was no line waiting to get seated. I will never go back and I will always tell people to avoid the place if they ask for recommendations. Too bad it was so hard for you guys to be more service minded and just make a slight effort to try to get...
Read moreI don’t understand the hype and how this bar is the “one to watch” on the worlds best bars listing. The drinks are…. Ok. When you read the menu the cocktails seem interesting but when drink is presented it all goes flat. We were placed at a table, no interaction from the bartenders. Limited menu. All the drinks are served in a highball galls that comes straight out a fridge with ice in it, already prepped. Drinks are then mainly poured from pre-batch and delivered without any knowledge from the floor staff who struggle to talk you through the drinks. It felt cold, soulless and more like a factory pumping out cocktails without charm and handy-work that make going to good bars and paying 150 sek worth it. Shame as the location is great, interior is cool and the few drinks they have sound interesting but again, no delivery. There are thousands of emerging bars around the world. This bar is...
Read moreI like visiting cocktail bars every now and then and love the whole art behind making a nice cocktail. I was surprised to find out that pretty much all the drinks they make here are pre made, not even garnishing is added to it. There was one that was fully poured from a slush machine and then put a straw on it, end of it. Nice drinks, yes. Expensive, oh yeah. Art, non-existent. When I visit these kinds of bars, I tend to try one of their drinks and then order a more customised one, often surprised by the bartender. Well, that is not possible here as they only pour their own drinks... I cannot believe how this place is listed on the 50 Best, not really worth it. There are way better cocktail bars in Stockholm! The vibe was also a bit weird, nice views, nice location but not very nicely furnished and the bar stools were quite uncomfortable to sit on for an...
