A New York Style Slice of Pizza is by far one of the best in the entire world in my personal opinion. Many have tried to replicate the unique flavors of a classic NYC slice. But, most have failed miserably. “
“A Slice of New York,” is another one of those average little places who were completely unsuccessful at finding the right mix of ingredients. We recently tried this pizza out and had pretty high expectations. I honestly thought it was joke on a multitude of levels. I kept on hoping someone would pop out and say this was only a prank.
Not only did the overall poor quality of Neapolitan sauce & stale sour dough combination fail to meet the true quality of genuine NY slice. They voraciously charge nearly $10 dollars for one disgusting slice to add insult to injury! My very first impression was it had to be a joke.
It was somewhat eerily reminiscent of a childhood frozen school lunch square you’d get with a chocolate milk in elementary school. How dare you name your imposter business after such a legendary/iconic pizza and probably never even have visited the city that never sleeps? What a shame!

The offer of 2 slices plus a drink was good. A large variety of drinks to choose from including Swedish brands & more internationally known ones. The pizza was very good however, when I arrived they had sold out a lot of their selection & would have to wait for specific choices to be cooked. I chose to have something else & was not disappointed. It did however, go cold very fast. Maybe due to the style being so slim as well as not being that warm to begin with. Worth the visit if you love pizza & do not want to splash out on the usual Stockholm...
Read moreSolid tasty New York style pizza in the heart of Stockholm. Tonnes of cheese, great sauce and great topping options with zero flop! Especially their leek pizza - I think called the dabrowski - highly recommended. But also, their Brooklyn and the flat iron. In fact all were super good. I went 3 times and also got a pie while waiting to leave for the airport and ate it in the hotel lobby. The pizzas are big. The slices are big. And the staff and owners are great! Super chatty and always happy to serve. You also get a free drink if you order 2 or more slices which we did a plenty! This is a hidden gem...
