A Sichuan cuisine inspired fusion restaurant. It's the second time I've been here.First time after it moved to the new address. As a person from Sichuan province, below is what i think: Environment and ambiance: Classy interior design, spacious seating. Very Östermalm.Lively and happening. Staff: Staff are really friendly and helpful, service minded and very attentive. We spilled our wine, and a friendly staff came with help almost in a split second. They deserve 5 star! Food: I'm sorry to say the food is slightly below average. I'm fully aware that this is fusion food, or should we say, 'European style Chinese food', which is totally fine. But at least it should be tasty. I would say for the 8 dishes we ordered, nothing is rememberable. The only thing i remember is all dishes are quite salty.... Price: Price is quite high given the amount of food you are getting. I get it is tapas concept, the amount is small, but the price for some dish is equivalent to a main course in a decent restaurant which is a bit absurd. Overall, i think it is a restaurant in Östermalm which you go there for everything else...

The Sichuan dishes are on the mild side but the tastes impress and the servings, although at small to medium sizes are very filling in totality.

DISHES & TASTES The dishes are rich, has a kick of soya, salt, fermented bean paste and chillies. The meat, vegetables and ingredients were fresh. Dishes are on the oily side but appetising and keeps you going back for more. It was a very good complete meal when accompanied by steamed white rice.

Dishes from most to least liked: Bang Bang Ji Si Twice Cooked Pork Stir Fried Greens Biang Biang Noodles Five Spice Ribs Ginger Fragrant Tofu Papa Cao's Dumplings (veg)

SHARED DISHES A visit here is best as a group since the dishes are for sharing. As a group of 3, we ordered 7 different dishes, allowing us to try a third of the menu.

AMBIANCE The dark oriental theme decor is tasteful and styled like a club. The size of the restaurant looks deceptively small but consists of two large but well compartmentalized rooms and a bar area.

COCKTAILS The cocktails here deserves praise. They are original, balanced and...

It was my birthday and we went spontaneous to Surfer´s. Since it was friday we didn't´t expect to get a table within 1hour, cause it is a very popular place. However, as soon as we got there within 1 minute the staff welcomed us and helped us immediately, so we got our table and ordered our drinks and believe it or not 14 dishes (5 of them same dish). The food, the drinks, the place, the music and the staff is wonderful. If you like asian food with a fusion touch you will love this place. The chef stepped by and talked to us since we ordered many dishes and he provided us desert on the house but we couldn't eat one more dish, simply didn't have space in our belly =)

If you are in Stockholm, make sure the book this place in good time. The have drop in too so if you want you can go there 5-10 min before they open and you will get a table almost within 15 min. They close during summer time though, but I hope you´ll enjoy it as much as me and the rest of citizens of...

From the moment you step into Surfers, you know you’re in for something special, the sleek décor hints at an upscale Chinese experience. The food is amazing, delivering bold spices and unique regional flavors. Highlights include the fiery chicken in red oil, chewy biang biang noodles crowned with cumin lamb, and tender five-spice ribs. Every ingredient tastes premium, and the flavors truly play off each other. If heat and quality are what you’re after, this menu hits the spot. A core lineup of permanent favorites sits alongside a rotating seasonal selection, so each visit feels fresh. The friendly, knowledgeable staff guide you through the spice levels. And while the entire venue is stylish, the bathroom is one of the funkiest i’ve visited in the most amazing way. The blend of top-notch ingredients and adventurous flavors keeps me coming back. I’ve already returned once and can’t wait for my next trip to Surfers.
