This place is racist. Discriminating. Cheap.

We had a horrible experience last night. We were going there for a beer after a team diner. Our team was all white except for one colleague. So far no problem.

Later, when some other colleagues who were not white came later to the bar they didn’t let them in because of “dress code” (we were all coming from the office so dressed properly).

The white Swedes (mostly teenagers) who were let in did not wear fancy clothes but did not have an issue greeting in.

We were really upset but stayed a bit longer until our non-white colleague went out for a smoke with a group. When trying to get back in they didn’t let him go in because “he was drunk”. He was not.

Later when we decided to leave he co fronted the bouncer and this man said “you don’t know what racism is you’re not really black you’re mixed race”. And then pushed him violently out of the sidewalk.

This is unacceptable it’s pure racism. So if you care, please stay away from that place. Let’s not support business that discriminate without reason and make some of us feel hurt and rejected. They should be ashamed...

Newly reopened and redecorated bar in the middle of Östermalm - known as the more fashionable and expensive parts of Stockholm.

Very nice and fresh interior goes along with cheap tap beer (lager is 29:- SEK until 19.00, while still having a selection of lager and ipa&ale&dark on tap) but without the dive touch like most other places where you can get a cheap pint close by.

The food is above average for really most pubs in the wider area, and still fairly reasonably priced.

The bartender that works most evening shifts knows his cocktails and the selection of spirits is pretty wide, from an average to modest selection if whisky, burbon and sour mash to many gins, vodkas and liqueurs.

If you can't get your mixed drink here then you are probably in the wrong place for a social drink.

Very popular after work scene by any measure.

Gets fairly busy after working hours, that asides weekends of course. Ok a week day it is very calm in the afternoon but lightens up later on most days.

This was one of my favourite go to place with friends and colleagues after finishing my work on Thursday/ Friday. But what happened yesterday was not acceptable. In fact in the past they never asked for any reservations and yesterday me and my friends were at the bar counter and trying to order beers and suddenly the guard asked for reservation though the place was empty and sent us back. The bars and pubs in Stockholm are becoming famous for this kind of rejections. My sincere request is to let the person know the real reason as to why you reject entering certain group of people. At least have the guts in communicating the real reason. I usually like the French fries here and they were one of my favourites but I have decided not to go to this...
