This place was an absolute waste of our time, money and experience. We were craving for some authentic Indian cuisine, and followed the map to arrive here. The lady there is very cold and not ready for a conversation. Most times she is on her phone, and you really need to wait for her to give you some attention when you want to call her. We ordered Palak chicken and dal fry. Both tasted weird, and there was water oozing out of the gravies. It was a disgusting sight, and we called the busy aunty to come and take a look at it. She seemed to be pretty ok with it and asked if we were expecting the curry to be thicker. C’mon, aunty, there is no reason why a well cooked dish should be oozing water. Palak tasted like grass. Dal fry was made with channa dal which was undercooked. She outrightly refused it to be so. Said, this is how they make it. Maybe we expected something else. Who eats raw dal? She thinks she is smart enough to blame it on us. She does not know the meaning of customer satisfaction. We also ordered for a bottle of packaged water. She has an expensive large mineral water bottle on her menu, which she brought to us already opened. This was totally not fair on us. I asked if it was packaged water and she said yes. It tasted like tap water and we immediately felt cheated. There was no reason why she should’ve opened the bottle before bringing it to the table. The overall experience was extremely disappointing. I would not suggest going to this...
Read moreVegetarian meals were OK. Chicken was over cooked, so hard that I couldn’t cut into it. I asked for spicy Madras, but the flavor was very sweet with a Tabasco-like (non-curry) kick to it, not what I want at an Indian restaurant. The bill was almost 40€ per person, drinking only water. The service was dispassionate to the point of neglect, the server never checked or asked if we wanted more rice. We left most of our food uneaten. We were the only patrons in the restaurant between...

Wonderful food, as good as any Indian restaurant I ever went to in England. The heat is tuned to the Swiss palate, so ask for "sehr sehr scharf" if you want it to have a reasonable bite by English standards. Service informal yet polite, attentive and sweet-natured.
They should update the decor someday, because the place is currently disguised as a standard Indian curry joint. But you'll stop noticing that as soon as you...
