Wanted to try the current vegan burger of the month (Aladdin) after taking a break from visiting new shops in the city. The menu generally has choices mostly available all year round and monthly special selection, both vegan and non-vegan, which I find very nice to offer variety. Furthermore, all burgers can be obtained with a vegetable patty as alternative too.
The ordering is done via selection of the meal (either burger alone or via menu, although I didn’t see any offer for discount like in Japan), then you get a pager which will beep once your burger is ready.
I ordered Aladdin and rosemary fries with ice tea to go due to the temperature. While Aladdin is probably not the best choice to take when it’s hot outside due to how dry and spicy it is, even if mildly, the burger was quite tasty and the fries were great and came with a generous portion.
There are many places to sit, and it gives the vibe of an American dinner with the coziness of an European setting. You can then bring back the tray and throw away the trash around the entrance, although the staff does pass around in case anyone doesn’t do this or leaves the trays outside.
Overall very kind staff and very nice experience, good to visit to try the new varieties every month and maybe bring a friend or two during...
Read moreI came to your establishment an hour ago and I confidently say it was the best quality burger I had anywhere in the world for many years.
The fries and sauces are top notch and the beer is pleasant.
With great sadness I must reduce one star in the overall rating because your employee in the kitchen who I think is from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 was speaking on the phone in a very loud voice.
At first I sat outside because it is cooler (you really need to position a mobile fan or two inside because sitting under the hot light bulbs in July is not fun).
As two bees and a couple of small insects roaming on the table took liking to me I decided to sit inside.
During the entire fifteen minutes the above mentioned employee was speaking very loudly which greatly reduced from the ambience which is already far from optimal due to the humidity and heat.
I respect that people from different backgrounds and upbringing have varying standards for what constitutes noise pollution.
However, when a client spends what is the equivalent of ten days wages in Bangladesh on a meal it is not unreasonable to expect to have it in relative peace.
As a frequent traveller to Asian countries I testify that at this price range not only are restaurants air conditioned but they also strive to enhance customer...
Read moreI used to love this place. Short: There were already 4 customers sitting around in the place, the staff took my order (Sunday 19th May at 17:05), I then waited patiently for 45 min., saw lots of customers that arrived after me getting their order. I asked the staff and it seemed my order vanished. Human error can happen, but I could see some of them "working" while constantly starring at their smartphones and engaging at long conversations with co-workers. Then of course human error increases and efficiency decreases dramatically. Managers and owners of this business seem to be in the so called comfort zone and that is fatal for us customers. After all this, I expected a least a treat, like offering the 27CHF expensive burger at half price while waiting again for them to do it, or anything for the disturbance caused...NADA, NIENTE, NOTHING. Good luck tough. Today you lost a passionate customer!
EDIT AFTER ANSWER: Just got a standard marketing answer they usually copy-paste to all unsatisfied customers....
