Sadly, my waiter couldn’t tell me which beans were hiding in my espresso—and forgot to ask the barista. The shot itself? More bitterness than character, a bit like a novel without a plot twist. The good news: the glass of water served alongside was crisp and delicious alongside a fresh flower. At nearly CHF 4 a cup, I suppose I paid for the best tap water in town… and got an espresso as a bonus. Hence, a generous three stars. 😊

Located on a beautiful square in the old town of Geneva you can sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings! The selection of coffe is quite good and the beans are a great selection. Only downside is that the service can take some time but the quality and seating makes up for that!

The interior design and aesthetic of Helia immediately set it apart from its neighbours and drew me in. The creative and expertly curated cocktail menu is what kept me coming back.
