I had visited this restaurant once before and enjoyed the experience, which motivated me to return and share my impressions. Since I travel to Italy regularly, I have certain expectations when it comes to Italian food. This restaurant not only meets those expectations with the quality of its dishes but also impresses with its warm and attentive service. The owners, a friendly and well presented couple, are always welcoming. In addition to offering seasonal specials, their regular menu features consistently good pizza and pasta. The restaurant is conveniently located in the city center and offers outdoor seating, making it a pleasant place to dine when the weather permits. The food was good, but one of the waiters was so rude. I had a reservation for 3 people and they were late. The third person told me that she may not be able to join but she will try. This waiter made us to change the table because we were not sure if the third person comes. I could understand if he was nice about it but he was very rude. He said loudly “YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND, we have a lot of clients” he was saying this while 60% of the restaurant was empty and this table didn’t fill until the end of the night.

One of the other waiters was so nice and he was helping us the whole night.

Incredible Italian Food & Warm Hospitality at Il Valentino – Geneva

While traveling through Geneva, we came across Il Valentino and decided to stop in—even without a reservation. The owner welcomed us so warmly and seated us quickly, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

We ordered the Margherita pizza and the four-cheese pizza—both were absolutely out of this world! Perfectly baked, bursting with flavor, and so satisfying. The pasta was equally amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
