L'Apothicaire Cocktail-Club — Restaurant in Geneva

Cocktails were very good, the service could have been perfect with only the older waiter that was really nice and professional.

However, the younger waiter at the bar with tattoos on the arms was execrable.

The bar was empty, I was on the banquette which is raised above the stool and very uncomfortable. So I asked this young waiter : "Can I sit on the stool as well, is it ok for you ?" His answer was "No". Ok, no big deal I can understand that he wants to let the dining room as it is.

But then he said angrily "You can't do whatever you want, the stool are here for a reason, if you don't want to sit here, go there" by showing the back of the restaurant. Dude, I can understand that you don't want me to change the place and you can simply say no. I won't make scene. But with all the execrable waiter I have seen in my life, no one has ever talked to me the way you said that. You should definitely rethink about the way you talk to customers, or really stay behind the bar and let your nice colleague...

An incredible unique experience to remember and absolutely worth the money, because the cocktails are the same prices as other bars in Geneva but have so much more value. Each drink has it’s own character, whether it’s a hot drink set on fire or a cold drink held by a glass made entirely of ice.

We sat at the bar and spoke to the bartenders Christophe and Harry - both are incredibly friendly, we spoke for hours and were told many interesting stories about the history of the cocktails and the bar itself. One in which is that Christophe set up the first true cocktail bar in Geneva: L’Atelier. So this cocktail bar is run by Geneva’s finest and most experienced cocktail makers.

Without a doubt I can say this will be our go-to bar...

Where do I start? This place might be intimidating at first especially on a Friday or Saturday night for a foreigner. But have no fear once you get a bar spot the bartenders will make you feel at ease and are super friendly. The prices are a little steep, but I think it’s on par with the rest of the country. The passion fruit drink is delicious and a treat. It’s fruity and tart with a couple of shots in there. I’d probably enjoy it even more if there was an additional shot to add a kick to it. Highly...
