Pub L'Arbalète — Restaurant in Geneva

We were visiting geneva and were trying to find a place to eat. L’arbalète was a gem! The chef is from Portugal and they offer Portuguese dishes as well as typical French ones. We tried the pulpo, the calamari and the entrecôte (steak). Everything was cooked perfectly Came with a salad as an appetizer. Service was super quick, chef was attentive. Stumbled on this spot on a Tuesday evening after learning that most restaurants in the area close their kitchen at 10 pm. Was about 10:15 and the owner agreed to fit in one last order. I had the salmon pasta, which came with a garden salad. Pasta was a simple cream sauce and very generous amounts of smoked salmon. Nice chill music and great atmosphere on the patio. Would not hesitate...

Really nice and cosy pub in Geneva. One of the few places in the old town where you can find a real Anglo Saxon pub atmosphere with none of the Calvinist snobbery. They also have a small private wine tasting room next door. Good selection of Portuguese...
