I recently visited Geneva on holiday to meet a friend, who recommended this restaurant as a great place to eat. However, I was mortified by my experience. As a vegetarian of 12 years, I was excited to try the vegetarian options on the menu. Unfortunately, after consuming nearly half of my burrito, both my friend and I discovered that it contained meat. Despite asking twice to ensure it was vegetarian and we were assured that it was, well it turns out it was not. After discovering that the food I consumed contained meat, I went and induced vomiting to prevent severe illness. Unfortunately, my attempt was not entirely successful, and I subsequently became extremely sick, as my body is not accustomed to digesting meat, particularly red meat. My friend communicated with the individual who prepared and served the food, but their response lacked sincerity and they did not offer any form of compensation. Consequently, I will not be returning to this establishment, as their indifference towards their error is unacceptable. In such situations, a genuine apology and a refund should be provided. I am deeply disappointed and the distress and discomfort I have experienced are simply not acceptable. To say that I am mortified by the food and service here would be an...
Read moreI have been eating regularly in these places (Plainpalais, train station) for almost 6years and have been disappointed multiple times these last two years. Prices are going up (I could understand if someone explained why) You have to always double check what items you got vs what you ordered/paid for because the new staff keeps forgetting some of them. Burned tortillas, downsizing the burritos a lot! (especially the girl that also seem to have no clue what she is doing/what she should put inside a burrito (multiple interactions and it's the same every single time she's there... I have sadly decided to not come here when she's working) The service/staff is really not welcoming/cheery/smiling. Often they seem outright exasperated to serve people (guy with the glasses: why do you even work in a place where human interactions are needed?). Except for 3 people (A Brazilian bearded guy + a Spanish one and the Portuguese lady that cooks everything (sorry don't know any of their names)) After reading several other reviews it seems like it's a recurrent complaint.
Apart from that, I find the food very good, the service super quick and will come back for sure depending on...
Read moreI was hesitating to write a review yesterday bec I enjoyed the food. But the service is bad. I wish the guy could have been a little bit nicer. I ordered online and i was going to pick up the food as Im just working nearby. It says i can pick it up in 30 mins and , when I get there it wasn't ready yet, he was attending to other dine in clients. It was my turn and he told me i need to wait 3 mins more. I said ill just come back, and after 15 mins I went back hoping that he will just hand me my order and pay. But I had to wait again on the queue. Today , i promoted the resto to my colleague, despite of what happened, i recommended that she eats there, she ordered her food and asking for a bit of extra sauce. The same guy told her that he already put some earlier, she was asking If she can have a bit more. He said, no because he puts a bit before. Really not nice....
