Holy Cow! — Restaurant in Lausanne

Dine in review: I tried the Veggies Kick burger. It was massive and flavorful, but with so many toppings the bun started getting a little soggy which could be improved. The taste overall was great, though! I also tried the raspberry sirop and a cookie: Double crème de la Gruyère et noix de pécan. It absolutely melted in my mouth, soft, crumbly, and perfect if you enjoy rich cookies. Definitely tempted to try the other cookie varieties next time. The service was excellent and the server was very friendly and polite, and the food arrived within just a couple of minutes.

Order review: Today’s California Kiss was absolutely fantastic. The red bean salsa, cheddar, and jalapeño sour cream came together perfectly for a bold, balanced flavor. Every bite had just the right kick. The Holy Cola was a pleasant surprise too, crisp and refreshing, and they even offer sugar free options. And those home cut fries? Perfectly golden, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, the ideal side to round...

Went there for the first time for 2 menus Satay beef burger and Maui burger, fries + 2 water bottles.

Bad hamburger under-cooked. This is very dangerous for sanitary reasons as hamburgers need to be cooked very well. My wife and myself had troubles the whole day. DANGER ! not enough fresh salad french fries not great too expensive for the quality. sticky tables (clean ?)

Conclusion : way too overpriced for a fast-food chain. This is NOT a restaurant. 40 frs for 2 menus is too expensive, as the quality is not so good. Better go to Burger King or MacDo. Their burgers are always well-cooked and way cheaper.

Will not return there and disappointed by this local hamburger fast-food chain that started...

I just can't make up my mind about the place. The burgers are tasty but arrive two seconds after you order so clearly aren't freshly cooked and can vary from rare to overdone. I'm struck every time I hand over my 20CHF for a burger and fries but the key is I keep coming back. There's a super high turnover and there's a certain allusion to cows in an abattoir as countless people are herded in the door mooing and baying.

It's fast food done well, nothing more and exists only because the tripe that passes for food in major chains has sunk to inedible standards and nearly everywhere else in Lausanne is unbearably expensive. They're surfing a wave of serving an ok burger and calling it 'gourmet' but they are by no means the worst offender.

Certainly worth a try if only to decide...
