We will not return. We used to be regular customers of this cafĂ©, as itâs conveniently located between the old town of Lucerne and the Altstadt parking. Living in Zug, we often come to Lucerne for family walks, and our kids enjoy a stop for ice cream. While the ice cream itself is just average, we always appreciated the warm hospitalityâespecially during the off-season, when a lovely tall lady would welcome us with kindness.
However, with the start of the tourist season, the atmosphere has completely changed. This was our first time in Luzern and the experience in this...

However, our experience at this cafe was quite pleasant and in fact the location made it one of the most memorable spots on our trip. The tall young lady who served us was quite friendly and polite. There was also another gentleman who kindly offered to click family photos for us. All in all it was a good experience. Maybe lady luck saved us from meeting the "boss"...
