Portuguese restaurant—authentic or not, I wouldn’t know, since I’m neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor an expert in Portuguese cuisine. First things first: the service was incredibly friendly and warm. It honestly felt like they were genuinely happy to have us there. We started with the shrimp appetizer, and let me tell you, the sauce was so good it could bring a tear to a glass eye. Pro tip: ask for extra bread to clean the plate—it’ll be worth it, trust me. Most of us at the table ordered the octopus, and we all agreed on two things. First, it comes with *a lot* (and I mean A LOT) of garlic and oil. It’s flavorful, but maybe a bit too much for some. Second, it was absolutely fantastic. For a few of us, it was the best octopus we’ve ever had. The portions were also very generous. We also tried the cod, and let’s just say the fish was picked clean—nothing left behind. Would I call it a must-visit spot in Lucerne? Not necessarily, but it’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant for Portuguese inspired food tucked away in a corner. I got the leek/sausage soup and … it requires an acquired taste. It was salty for me bc the sausage was salty and then the sogginess of the leeks did not match with my palate. For the main entree, I got skewered octopus with veggies and that was delicious. I loved everything on my plate except for boiled spinach(?…not sure what plant this was). Server was nice and welcoming. They have clean bathrooms in the basement with a/c. The restaurant dining room itself didn’t have a/c or fans so it was hot eating dinner. A glass of wine or beer are actually cheaper or cost the same as water.

If you’re craving authentic Portuguese cuisine in the heart of Luzern - this is the place. Huge portions that could feed a small village (or one very hungry tourist). Everything is soaked in that glorious golden Portuguese olive oil - your cardiologist might weep, but your taste buds will sing The green wine flows freely, the seafood is fresh, and the staff? Absolutely delightful - warm, welcoming, and hilariously charming. It’s like being invited to dinner by a funny Portuguese uncle who insists you take seconds. And thirds Bring your appetite. And stretchy pants 🫶😜

The restaurant was empty when we arrived which should have been the first clue to go somewhere else. The service was slow and with the waiter bordering on rude. It took forever to receive our food and when it did arrive it was not the food listed on the menu. They had substituted spinach for broccolini without asking if we minded. The grilled fish (cod) was rubbery and overcooked and boiling in oil when it arrived. The skin was soggy and there were bones in the filet. Everything our party was served was lacking flavor. Sadly this was the worst food we ate during our entire...
