Please do not bother to come and try at this restaurant. It’s good that it’s a wood fire pizza. However, food was just alright and the service was not good and friendly at all.
1st, The staffs doesn’t smiles at you all even when they always check with you if everything is good.
2nd, When the young waiter are clearing the bowl after we are done with the soup, he just threw one of the spoons into the bowl making quite a bit of noise.
3rd, only my 2nd last piece of pizza, found a small piece of plastic while I was chewing. Told the waitress about it and she told me I’m wrong. This is a prawn shell. However, i told her prawn shelves are not flexible. This is a flexible plastic. After she have checked, she said it could be the plastic from the cheese packet. When getting the bill, it was the waiter who gave it to us. We had told him that I found a plastic while chewing on my pizza. He told me it can’t be. I must have mistook it as a prawn shell. Again, I told him prawn shell are not flexible. In conclusion, none of the staffs are apologetic at all. No apology, no compensation. They think that as an asian, I do not know what is the difference between a prawn shell and a plastic.
On a side note, I do not know why will there be an extra charge if 2 person were to share a pizza when the pizza so big just for 1 person to share.
How disappointing to come across this restaurant during...
Read moreLocation of the hotel was very convenient. It was at the center of the town and was only a 10 minute walk from the train station right across the bridge. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
However, there were several issues I take with my one night stay at the hotel. First, the rooms were cramped for 2 people. Given the location and price, though, I understand the need for smaller rooms. The rooms also did not have AC (only a ceiling fan), which apparently, is not uncommon in Switzerland. We had to open the windows, but quickly closed them, because moths started to fly in through the windows. Second, I had made a booking for 3 rooms on the same reservation, however, when I checked in, all 3 rooms were in different floors because they couldn't see that it was on the same reservation. Furthermore, the lady at the reception deliberately made myself and another guest (both Asians) wait in line for her assistance, while she helped another guest (German, by the way she spoke) even though we were in line first. To top it off, the power in our room went out in the middle of the night at 1am and we had to call reception to fix it. As we were asleep, all we had on at the time, was the ceiling fan. We were not offered any apology or compensation. For all these reasons, I cannot...
Read moreIt all looked ok when we arrived. A cute little hotel with a great location. We got there pretty late, so we put on the AC and went out for a quick drink. When we got back the room was swelteringly hot. We rang the reception, who informed us we were lucky to even have AC in the first place. We spent both nights with the windows open, trying to fall asleep in between drunks screaming outside. The decor in the room is a mixture of quality and really cheap. It's like they ran out of money half way through the renovation. The bathroom is the same, expensive fixtures and a really cheap shower door. When we checked in we were told that breakfast was included, but when we were halfway through breakfast on the second morning, we were told (in front of everyone else dining) that we couldn't have breakfast. Turns out it wasn't included. It was really embarrassing. The waitress then proceeded to put the food and coffee away, so we could have any more. They didn't deal with their mistake very...
